Cheyne and his crew are awesome. They are extremely professional, reasonably priced, prompt, and do nothing but excellent work. We have had them do recessed lighting throughout our home, ceiling fans, panel/breaker work, outdoor lighting and more. Also, important to me, they have always been extremely clean! From wearing shoe covers inside our home, to the work they do (e.g. no messy dry wall repair when possible) Highly recommend!

Cheyne and his team were very professional. Cheyne and I discussed my project prior to his arrival, I needed an additional outlet installed in our nursery, and he gave me a reasonable quote/flat fee for both parts and labor. When his team arrived, they had booties on, ready to go. They worked very quick and clean. They made sure to keep everything tidy as they worked, which I appreciate. They were all very nice, and you can tell they were all very knowledgeable in their field. When they finished the initial task at hand, there was still time left in that first hour that I was paying for, so they helped with two other minor electrical related issues, and resolved them.

A few days later, we experienced a minor electrical issue stemming from one of the last fixes that was worked on, two light switches that had been switched, and a separate electrical issue in the nursery with a dimmer that we had never had prior to the new outlet being installed. Cheyne made an effort to send his team out within a few days to resolve both matters. I was very appreciative of that. They want ahead and fixed the light switch issue that had stemmed from their previous fix, but the other issue that we had in the nursery with the dimmer, apparently wasn't related to the new outlet that they had installed.

This next part was the only slightly negative part of the experience. Cheyne's associate went ahead and fixed that dimmer issue in the nursery, but did not express to me prior to doing so that he would be installing a new part, and that I would be charged yet another service fee for doing that. So when he told me that the faulty part was replaced, I expected to pay solely for the part, not for the labor, as I thought that their visit was complementary since it was a follow-up from their previous visit. They had not mentioned anything about another service fee charge. Had they mentioned that there would be another service fee, I may not have moved forward with that fix at that time. I contacted Cheyne and expressed my disappointment about this, and he was very fair and allowed me to go ahead and pay strictly for the part since I had not been made aware prior about the new service charge. That is why, even through this small snafu, I am still giving a five star review, because he and his team did a great job with their work, and in the moment of an issue, Cheyne was quick to fix it. All in all, I am very satisfied with Trustco's services, and I will definitely be recommending them and utilizing them again for my future electrical needs.

Highly recommend Cheyne and his crew, they came to my house to install outdoor light fixtures, we opened the box to find color was wrong, he was patient and kind about it. They came back two weeks later and did an excellent job installing the fixtures. I have had him out couple other times since for various projects and like his name implies , he is very trustworthy! he does quality work .

WOW! The switch on our ceiling fan was broken. I called on 12/17/15 and Cheyne Hoskins told me he would have his team come out on 12/18/15. The team arrived promptly and took on the task of shutting off the power and then replacing the switch. I was impressed by the very professional and prompt service at a reasonable price. Trustco Electric is a definite keeper for any future electrical work!

If we could give 10 stars, we would! Cheyne and his team (Julio and Juan) are the best contractors we have ever worked with. The work they did included installing new recessed LED and halogen lights with dimmers throughout the house (room lights, reading lights, art lights), wiring and installing new outdoor speakers, adding new outdoor outlets and installing overhead fans. Cheyne responded quickly to my initial call and followed up with a visit and detailed bid within a couple of days. He listened carefully to what we wanted, provided suggestions based on his experience, and stayed closely engaged with us and his team throughout the work. He advised on best placement yet completely worked with us to meet our preferences for symmetry, etc. They were extremely respectful of protecting our house and belongings as they did the work, and left the house very clean at the end of each day. Throughout the project they were very courteous and enjoyable to have in the house. They also helped us with things that were outside of their main work (e.g., talking to our audio store about how to best wire the new speakers, applying a colored putty my husband concocted to cover flaws in fixtures we had purchased elsewhere, taking pictures in the attic of an area I suspected might be leaking). And to top it off, he finished the work under the bid amount he gave us. We could not give a higher recommendation for Trustco Electric - they are the best!!!

Cheyne and his team are so kind, courteous, thoughtful and PROFESSIONAL!!! Love working with them as they installed all of our chandeliers (some were in impossibly high ceilings) indoor lighting ( new wiring and updated old). Minimally invasive and trust me, other quotes talked about all the drywall work that would be needed and truly Cheyne and his team left very little ""footprint"".... Seriously, understand the work we needed was over the top due to my husbands need for excessive extravagant lighting.... Trustco Electric more than came through at what we know was a very fair price ( actually we feel we got a heck of a deal)!! Thanks Trustco! We will be calling again cause you can never have too many lights!!! Right?

I have had Cheyne do several jobs for me. He installed a large chandelier on a slanted ceiling, a new electrical outlet in my bathroom, and a light in my closet. He does a fabulous job and cleans up afterwards. And he is reasonably priced! He deserves more than 5 stars.
