Absolutely amazing! Response very quickly and communicates very well. He changed every single outlet in my house 40+ of them, installed 5 new ceiling fans, installed all new vanity lights in all my bathrooms, installed hallway light fixtures and more. It was a big job and he showed up on time and took care of everything. Very professional, but also relatable and that's what made me feel even more comfortable. Definitely hiring him for more work. Would definitely recommend! Peter got back to me immediately with a reasonable quote and was quick to set up a time to come help with my wiring projects (replacing two horrid fluorescent lights on our lanai with new pendants and one sketchy wall outlet with a safer one that he had on hand). It's often difficult to find people willing to come to the N. Shore and he had no qualms with it, so more bonus points for that.

Peter totally took care of me -- he notified me when he was on his way and expected to arrive, was friendly, highly professional and spent time to talk me through a couple of project options. He knew exactly what he was doing, so I left him to it and he and knocked everything out in just about an hour. Would (and will) give him a call for future projects.

I was wiring in a new bathroom fan and when I went to turn on the breaker, nothing came on. After some troubleshooting I narrowed it down to the main breaker. I sent in the request for a new main breaker on Yelp and Peter was one of the first to respond. He got me scheduled the next day and had our electricity back up in no time. They also use a texting service to let you know when the electrician is on the way/arrived. Overall, it was all you can ask for--speed, service, and quality work. Price was about average.

I was having electrical issues with the bathroom light flickering and the chandelier light just going out...all at the same time. Sent in a quote request Monday afternoon to 5 businesses and Peter responded quickly. We set up an appointment the following day around 12:00 pm. He was on time and was ready to go. The bathroom light was a quick fix with a loose wire in the switch. The chandelier was a little different. The light was connected to 2-3 way and 1-4 way switch so he checked all the connections and luckily I had some 3 way switches so he installed those for me. The 4-way he ran quickly down the road to pick one up to install. After confirming its not the switch, we looked at then the chandelier. It was above the staircase and I had no ladder. He took out his Little Giant and was able to get to it. I give him lots of guts for this because he had no issues reaching up to take down the fixture as it was at least 15 feet up. Identified the wires were fraying and luckily I had a spare LED fixture. He connected that up and everything works! Installed it quickly and we are good to go.

I had to replace my old water heater and the new one was wired in to an old (25+ y.o.) Little Gray Box water heater timer. I knew the water heater timer was failing (clock had stopped working) and had purchased a new one to be installed after the new water heater was in place. Sure enough, the circuit breaker tripped about 20 minutes after I turned on the Little Gray Box.

I called the electrician I usually use but had no response to the message I left on his phone. So, I wrote a request for quote and sent it out. Within 5 minutes of the Yelp notification that the request had been sent, I got a reply from Peter. I called him and described the situation. He advised me to leave everything alone and came the next morning.

It took him a few minutes to determine that, it was the old water heater timer which had failed. He removed it and then put in the new water heater timer. He reset the circuit breaker and said everything was fine. Although he set the timer to the times I want the heater to turn on/off, that evening, the timer didn't turn off at the scheduled time. I texted Peter and he said he could come out if need be. I decided to check the box the next morning and saw that the clock time was 2 a.m. so I set the clock to the correct time. The water heater timer has been working as it should and I let Peter know.

Just had excellent service from Peter at True Power! We had an issue arise where we needed an electrician ASAP. Fortunately Peter was in the neighborhood and was able to stop by right away. He gave us a reasonable quote and fixed the problem. Also did a great job explaining what he was doing and why. He works all over the island and we will definitely be calling him in the future! Highly recommended!
