Over this past Christmas weekend I received a call from one of my distressed tenants who had no light in their living room and hall-- and their alarm was beeping. After struggling to find someone who could help fix this issue I ran across Tri-Phase Electric's yelp page. I called Mike and left a message thinking that I'd never hear back since it was a holiday weekend. But just a little while later I got a call from Mike. He couldn't make me any promises because of course he had family plans that day (Christmas Eve). To my surprise he was able to get over there and get the issue resolved very quickly and make my Tenant's Christmas --(and mine too) a whole lot more comfortable. 5 Stars for Tri-Phase Electric and Mike!!

Take it from me, a property manager-- Mike and Tri-Phase are awesome!!

Can you give a company 0 stars? That would be my choice for Tri-Phase Electric

I hired them to install can lights in two rooms upgrade electrical/switch plates in my house and install GFI switches in the bathrooms and kitchen. I also hired them to install all of the new hallway light fixtures and ceiling fans with dimmer switches for 4 bedrooms.

I paid them 60%. They showed up when they said they would and installed the can lights, changed out the switch plates and ran the electrical for the new ceiling fans (or so I thought, read below). I believe I was at work at the time. But when I got home I discovered that they had only installed one GFI in the kitchen next to the sink, and not the other three I had asked for in my bathrooms.

I called to make sure that they would come and install the GFI's and also schedule for them to come back and install the ceiling fans and light fixtures. And then I called again, and again, and again, and again.....When I did finally get ahold of someone, Mike told me that he would ""send his guy over."" .......still waiting.

Finally, because we really needed lights and I was 9 months pregnant at the time, I had to find a new electrician to come and finish the work. Now everyone knows that you can never hire a NEW person to finish a job for what you would have paid overall, so I believe I ended up out several hundred dollars. Also, when the new electrician came he notified me that they NEVER RAN THE ELECTRICAL FOR THE DIMMER SWITCHES ON MY 4 CEILING FANS, and that would basically run me the entire cost of running new electrical, so not only did I not get my dimming lights, I also had to eat most of the cost of the dimmer switches that I had ordered because the lighting store told me they would charge me close to a 50% restocking fee.

Bottom line, I would never, ever hire this company again and I certainly would never recommend it to anyone.

We found Tri-Phase Electric after reading great reviews on Yelp. We had Mike installed 24 lights in our home and they turned out looking great. Mike was very helpful explaining the different light options and what works best for lighting our home. We are very glad to go with the lights Mike recommended to us (LED lights). They really make our home look nice and bright with professional installation, friendly service, great price, and overall, Mike is a great guy. He even came out to put the lights back up after our home contractor finished with the house painting (free of charge..just a friendly smile). Mike even came out to redo one of our kitchen lights for free (we put the kitchen cabinet too close to the existing light). He's awesome! We will definitely have Mike come back to put more LED lights in our master bedroom (and maybe the rest of the bedrooms later on). Besides installing LED lights for us, we also had Mike replaced our electrical box and reworked all of our electrical wiring around the house. Nice job!

We finally did a kitchen remodel and needed an electrician to install under cabinet LED lighting. Mike from Tri-Phase Electric was knowledgeable, courteous, and affordable. He made some great suggestions that were relevant and really made a difference. We are thrilled with our new lights! Thank you Mike for adding the perfect finishing touch to our new kitchen! We will be using Tri-Phase Electric for all of our electrical needs.

We installed more than 30 recessed lighting on two stories of our home. Competitors quotes included high amount of drywall work as there was no attic access. Mike did such a wonderful job that he must have saved me a few hundred dollars just on that! His price was in the mid-range among different quotes that I got. Overall experience with light selection, installation was top notch. He is a great guy to work with and would recommend him to anyone

We're located in Los Angeles, but needed work done at our property in Campbell ASAP! Spoke to Mike late in the day and he totally helped us out that evening. Reasonable price and definitely someone you can trust. This was our first time using him and will definitelly use him again in the future!!!

Mike B. did an excellent job putting in 4 LED recessed lighting in our living room and replacing 3 existing ones. He worked hard and finished everything within a day. Only 2 small holes required patching after all was done. He is extremely knowledgeable about electrical work as well as construction, which helped since our ceiling didn't have an attic above it. Very nice and honest guy who does great work at reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend him.

I really like working with Mike on all the jobs since 2004 I have other electricians as well that I have used in the past, but I call Mike first because I know he will be fair and honest. His prices are always fair and there are NEVER any call backs after he is done.
When he has completed the job, it is a pleasure to see the finished product!

Mike did a great job on the recessed lights he installed in my house. I found him easy to reach and communicate with, both by phone and by email. He arrived on time for every appointment/work day except one - and that day he had a good reason for being late, and called me when he knew he would be late. The work itself was clean, efficient, and well-done. So far, this would be a four-star Yelp rating from me.

What really made this a five-star job was that halfway through the work, my wife and I decided that we wanted to significantly change the job. Mike cheerfully went along with the change, and even declined my offer to compensate him for the change. Mike really knows how to make a customer happy.

This review has been deserved for a long time. I'm not much of a yelp writer and more of a yelp reader. Mike install 13 recessed lights in my kitchen and dinning room and did a fantastic job. He even stayed late to finish up the job in 1 day. I highly recommend every one to use Mike for their lighting projects and electrical needs. He also has the best price around! I took 8 different bids and he by far was the cheapest and the most professional. He knows what he's doing and does an exceptional job. Sorry it took my so long to write this review Mike. But I'll definitely be using you again when I decide to add more lighting.
