Danny Mixon is honest and stands behind his work. We have dealt with him twice and were well satisfied both times. The first, he told us nothing was wrong after another electrical company gave us a quote that would total $11K, yes, 11K. The second time we dealt with Thor, we had to replace underground wiring. While they were working, the hit a water main and fixed it within about 15 minutes. After the work was done and Danny was paid, we discovered that two spots in our sprinkler system had been punctured. All Danny required was a copy of the bill for having it fixed. He sent a check right away. I would recommend him to anyone. He responds quickly and does a fine job. He is an ethical electrician.

We had half of our house lose power on Memorial Day.. including our A/C. Danny answered quickly and was able to come out the same day even though it was a holiday. He was straightforward with what was going on and even helped us let our issues be known to Centerpoint. When centerpoint found our problem Danny came back that same night to fix it so we could have our power (especially our A/C!) back on. I highly recommend this company!

Had some work done on my parents home. The ground was not connected and had to be reattached to a new clamp. In addition had a few issues in the breaker panel fixed. Mr. Hixon and his assistant were extremely knowledgeable and very efficient. All issues fixed in under an hour. Mr. Hixon is very competent and refreshingly honest. I highly recommend. All problems fixed for under $300. Other quotes were as high as 5,000 from other companies. The difference.... honesty and ethics.

Danny Hixon, the business owner, returned my message within the hour. He offered more than one option for an appointment time that worked in my schedule to examine the problem. He arrived the same day I called. He was at my home 15 minutes before our appointment time and communicated via text well.

Danny does not charge a ""service fee"" to inspect the problem. He promised and gave me a fair and reasonable price quote after he examined my home. He was clean, polite, and thorough.

Danny replaced a circuit breaker and updated the connections in the breaker box in less than 30 minutes.

It can be challenging to find a licensed electrician to do a small residential job, especially for a condo in midtown! This is one reason that I can't thank Thor Enterprises enough. The owner, Danny Hixon, is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and he wants to do the best job for you at a reasonable price. His electricians on the job, Jose and Orlando, were wonderful. They were also professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Jose, the lead, was a problem solver who, when faced with any difficulties such as screws not fitting the installation of a chandelier, or the tricky movement of an electrical box, persevered until he got the job done. The result was perfection with hardly any sheetrock damage. Everything was done properly and precisely with laser technology. I highly recommend this company for your electrical needs.

Called Thor Enterprises to fix my dryer, as it was not heating to dry clothes. Had to leave a message for Danny Hixon, and he did call me back within literally two minutes. We set the date for him to come to my home. On the day of the appointment, it was not Danny Hixon that showed up at my front door. It was two other men. I did not like that. It was understood Danny was to come. Wait, it gets better. After showing me the electrical receptacle was pulling 244 volts, more than enough to heat the dryer to dry clothes. What these two men did was just that - show me the correct amount of voltage was coming through. What they did not check was the receptacle itself. If they had, they would have discovered burn/spark marks on the prongs, which means although the electrical receptacle is pulling an adequate amount of voltage, the burn/spark marks on the prongs are CLEAR indicators the prongs are loose and not making a connection within the receptacle. I paid $85 for subpar service, and I will not use this electrician again. When I pay for a service, I expect a full diagnostic report, not just a couple of guys sticking a tool into a socket and telling me it's pulling enough voltage.

Danny is a true professional electrician he was timely , super knowledgeable and very fair in the rates that he charges. Called on a Saturday in the morning and I was taken care of like I had called during the week and no extra charges or anything due to it being on the weekend. Yelp to the rescue again! Electrical sockets in our kitchen and laundry went out in a house we recently moved into. We are new to Houston so did a quick Yelp search. I called a few places and was told the earliest availability was six days away (!). Called Thor Enterprises and left a message. Danny called me back within 10 minutes and was over at our house within the hour. Danny came with his colleague and they were both incredibly professional, polite, and friendly. They knew exactly what to look for and made sure we knew where the trip plugs were so we would not need to call them out again. Very knowledgeable and methodical and a very reasonable service charge.
