I have dedicated over 15 years to the electrical industry. I am a certified C10 license holder. I bring 15+ years of expertise in commercial, heavy industrial, and residential work as an independent contractor. I am skilled in the installation and programming of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). I handle the installation of PLC modules and terminal blocks. I am capable of removing and installing 480V three-phase motors on gearboxes. I manage the installation of electrical panels, fixtures, outlets, and a range of electrical devices. I purchased a new gas range, not knowing it is a ""hybrid"" range that requires 220V outlet until the delivery has been made. I called Keith and let him know my problem. He was able to show up on short notice and gave us a free estimate. We ended up returning the hybrid range and purchased a regular gas range instead, and didn't need Keith's service. However, Keith was polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. If we ever need any other electrical service in the future, we will definitely call Keith.

I recently had my main panel upgraded by Keith and it took several months to complete. He barely shows up and when he does, only worked less than an hour and left without saying a word. He always says he'll show up but never did and not a single text or phone call was received. The only time he's quick to text or call is when he demand another payment when hardly any work was done. He cuts corners and does sloppy work making unnecessary holes on the walls, lag screws going into stucco with no hollow anchors to secure the panel and conduits can be easily pull right out. Electrical panel and conduits are not level or straight even after he ""fixed"" it. I was left without any power in the kitchen for a week. He crossed the electrical wires and the garage door motor stopped working including the garage light and outlets are now reading hot neutral reversed. I hired another Electrician to fixed what he messed up. All my Electronics including Appliances would have been fried if i didn't act quickly and luckily, my house didn't catch on fire by bad electrical work! He would not answer phone calls or texts after he received the final payment and does not care what problems you begin to experience afterward. He is incompetent and I would never recommend him or this company to anyone. He showed up to work in a Dodge Challenger wearing baggy jeans holding his crotch while talking. Not a professional impression from someone who is hired by a client to work for. I almost fired him at one point but it was already too late.

I've held this review to see how Keith/TEK would follow up and at this point can say, he's not reliable and overcharges to take advantage of clients.

Keith assessed an electrical need for us to add 120amp outlets to a manufactured homes for AC units, we also needed 4 external outlets repaired installed. I asked about the state of the electrical box and was told it was older but would be fine.

He had his sons come to do the work which was fine but they didn't finish in one day as promised and had to come back in few days, not the next day due to their scheduling needs. His sons requested FULL payment before they even finished the job which was inappropriate at best and unethical at worst. They came back to finish but now I only had 2 external outlets that needed repaired not 4 originally assessed and quoted! I had already made the official checks so I couldn't change the payment. I asked for a credit to honor this for the future which Keith agreed too. I didn't think it would be an issue but it didn't land square as it should have.

Now, a few months later we have an electrical issues in the same house. The electrical is being tripped in a few breakers constantly.

He charged us over $300 for assessing this situation and another in the other house which he sons installed a 120 amp directly to the electrical box because it keeps glitching. Plus, changing out a few breakers.

When we was asked about the credit he said it was credited in regards to a ""consultation fee."" We never had to deal with this fee before but now existed for this visit?! Convenient for him. And still proceeded to charge us the original price he stated.

TEK/Keith is not worth doing business with.

Phone call place to TEK Electrical had the pleasure of speaking with Keith Wise. I shared that my father purchased a new cooktop that was converted from electric to gas and that we were in need of a 110 outlet for the igniter for the cooktop. Keith responded quickly, by coming to assess the project the same day. He informed me he had time later in the day to complete the job. He called me as scheduled to let me know he was picking up the material and that he would be right over to complete the job. Keith was truly efficient and a pleasure to receive service from. He is highly recommended.

Had to call other electricians in as Keith messed up our kitchen outlets something fierce.

The other electrician to work after Keith stated he had essentially crossed circuits together so our garbage disposal switch actually controlled our outlets, so anytime we ran our disposal all our outlets shut off. He had also fully disconnected a necessary line further up to provide power to outlets further down the circuit (which explains the above and where he was drawing the necessary power)

Save yourself some time and money and get someone who actually knows what they are doing

Extremely disappointed in Keith's service. We agreed on a price for a job we both signed written agreement. He requested $1,000.00 deposit for materials. One month later no work had been done and I receive another revised estimate for $6,000.00 more.
I had to cancel the contract due to Keith's asking for a $6,000 increase to the original signed contract was above my budget.
Keith stated, he is ""good faith"" and would return my $1,000 deposit, but needed a week to do so.
It has now been several weeks and I still have not received my $1,000 deposit from Keith.
