I had two electrical issues. Our outside flood lights around the house went out, and the electrical outlets in our family room started failing, and eventually all of them (6) failed. I called TE Certified Electricians based on my Best Pick Reports book, and the large number of 5 star ratings given, as well as the write up. They arrived promptly as scheduled. Their electrician, Hayden, did a thorough inspection of the electric panel and the outlets in my family room. The causes were identified. A power surge had knocked out all of the flood lights. My house is 48 years old and the outlets had started failing.He put a plan together for what needed to be done. The costs were reasonable for what needed to be done. I agreed and he called in a helper to get the job done the same day. I had all the outlets and light switches replaced in the family room, kitchen and dining room done. I upgraded to quad outlets in some areas. I got 10 LED flood lights installed that will last for 40 years and had a whole house surge protector installed and one circuit breaker upgraded to a 50 amp circuit to provide enough amperage for my new 3 1/2 ton central air unit. All of this work was completed the same day. Hayden explained everything in detail and made sure I was completely satisfied before I signed the payment form. I would certainly recommend TE Certified Electricians to anyone looking for service, and also highly recommend Hayden for his outstanding skills and customer service. They have become my one and only electrician service from now on.

I think they are responsive and able to provide service quickly however I was not aware that estimate cost is $150 to just diagnose the problem. $430 to close the drain pipe that was connected to dishwasher and connecting drain to garbage disposer total was $430. I didn't get another estimate from different company but seems over price for what the fix is. I wish they told me before how much the estimate would cost and also they won't apply the estimate to the repair either
Afterward. Maybe they are good for big ac job but not for small repair. I would not recommend for small job.

I had Michael come out to address my clogged plumbing and Jonathon onsite to swap out some light fixtures. All parties were on time, answered questions and were highly professional. The price of service was more than fair to have the assurance the job(s) were done properly.

Technician was great, timely, good price compared to others. I have to deduct a star because my case was dropped through the cracks. An inspection was needed afterwards and no one contacted me. I told the technician that he had my email wrong and he said he would update it at the office. He did not. I emailed him after 2 weeks no one had contacted me about the inspection and he said some one would contact me. Another week went by and I sent a message to the company and their response was that they had emailed me. They just didn't do a good job with follow up.

TE certified electrician Thomas Stephens did an outstanding job in diagnosing and repairing the severe electrical damage at our house caused by a lightning strike.

Mr. Stephens arrived right on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and explained what he was doing each step of the way. He also gave us helpful advice on how to prevent damage from a future lightning strike.

We will definitely contact TE for any needed electrical repairs.

I was it satisfied with the pricing or the way the appointment was handled. The tech was very nice, but he made it sound like a simple problem was huge and gave me three options from 270-2000 dollars to fix it. Ehrlich electric came out and fixed it in less than an hour for 265!

A TE electrician came over 9 months ago to troubleshoot and install floodlights, as we were unable to turn them on. We had just moved into our home a month prior. During the troubleshooting, I guess the electrician realized that solving the floodlights would be no quick endeavor. Hence, the technician headed straight to our electrical panel and took the cover off, unprovoked. He then unloaded about how unsafe the panel was, the fire hazards involved, etc. Obviously, as new homeowners, this was concerning to us and disconcerting to hear we should get a new $4,500 panel + all the other bells and whistles which were mentioned to us, when all we really wanted was a simple floodlight job done. Any time I asked the electrician to explain a concept so I could understand it better, he got defensive and brought up his 14 years of experience. This individual insulted home inspectors and mentioned several times how we had ""cheap"" light fixtures/LED bulbs.

Since then, we had 2 independent electricians come over to perform a panel inspection, neither of which deemed the panel to be a ""fire hazard"" or safety hazard. While not necessary, we had the panel replaced this week at a far better price than the $4,500 suggested. I strongly resent scare tactics and will not be using TE again. TE gets 2 stars instead of 1 because the floodlights were fixed, albeit at an exorbitant price.
