HVAC install was excellent, at a price competitive with other highly recommended installers. I could maybe quibble a little bit about the lack of fine level clean up with little bits of wire and metal all over the floor and outside.

BUT. Some higher up at the home office flagged ""problems"" with the electrical panel, sent a guy out who then tried to sell me on $8000+ of work and put the absolute fear of god into me about various electrical dangers, describing some minimum level of stuff that would need to be done regardless.

Then I called a trusted master electrician known to friends, they took a look, and recommended ... $0. Could find nothing wrong.

It's too bad, because based on the HVAC I would have given 5 stars. Now I have a big question mark.

Having someone fully aware of the problem is a little concerning. The tech was great. The fact that the front of the washing machine needed to be removed to get to the filter is absurd. But that is not on him

Tech openly shared and explained the issue, fixed it, and we are back in the clean clothes business.

Bait and switch scam! I recently got a Tesla and wanted to install a 240 volt outlet in my garage for charging. TE Certified was on the Tesla website and had good reviews so I called them. A tech came out and charged me ~1000 dollars to install a 240 volt outlet in my garage. I thought it was expensive, but went with it anyway as they had to snake a line to my basement to install. The work seemed fine and the outlet worked....for about 45 minutes. Then the circuit popped again and again. TE certified sent another tech out that said that everything looked ok, but sometimes these outlets just pop but everything looked fine. Within a week the outlet quit working all together. They sent another tech who offered to replace the fuse, but said that these outlets usually just don't work. Obviously, I got upset and talked to the manager Jamie P. He actually said that somehow I should know the outlet wouldn't work and that they usually put that in the paperwork. He did admit that it didn't say anything about that in my paperwork, but implied that the tech would have told me and I was lying. Who the hell spends 1000 dollars when they are told the outlet won't work!! The only solution he had was to give him another 400 bucks to install an official Tesla charger!! I said you did one job that doesn't work and now you expect me to pay more money for another job that probably won't work. It was a classic bait and switch. Now I have an outlet that will only work for maybe 40 minutes before shutting down and am out 1000 bucks!! Definitely, choose one of the other electricians on Tesla's website. I am reaching out to Tesla about my experience, buyer beware.

Originally had some problems with breaker box that had been rebuilt. I've had them out a few times due to breakers popping off ( only reason for 4*). It happened again and they reached out to me and we have technicians here now to find the problem. They seem very knowledgeable and were prompt in arriving and were sent out quickly. They did a lot of troubleshooting to try to resolve the problems. I feel confident it's been resolved and if not, I'm also confident that they will they will respond to any problems I'm having with it.

Very prompt scheduling. The technician came promptly to inspect. However did not do the work in the same appointment. Ultimately the technician felt unable to meet my requirements and canceled the appointment to perform the work.
The four star is for their scheduling and initial appointment.
I can't comment on quality since they didn't actually perform the work.

Service was great. Phone call went smoothly, scheduling was easy and the crew arrived on time. Both were professional, clean and competent. I really only take a star because it was pricier than I'd hoped. Inflation is one thing, two pros in the truck, profit motive...I do ""get it."" That said, ours was a very basic repair, that took 30 minutes and only one of the techs had to do anything; diagnose and replace a breaker. I got exactly what I asked for, just hoped for a better value...I'll be back.

Contacted TE Certified as I am so annoyed with the service from Casteel. Lets just say they sent me the best person to work with me on my HVAC issues. Pricing $$$ is a little steep compared to others however Im happy with the outcome. Really I have to thank Armando A. for great customer service and taking the time to explain and answer my questions.
