I am so glad I found my go-to electrician. Their positive Yelp reviews are genuine. I had called other electricians that were closer to the property, but none picked up and did not respond via email or text quickly. After waiting for quarter of an hour, I decided to call TD West because their reviews said they were very responsive. I was so glad a real human picked up right away. Tom was very friendly and gave me some troubleshooting ideas. He even took the time to talk to difficult tenants to let them know that they were overloading the circuit and why the work needed to be done. He kept in touch with me throughout the process and follows up as promised. The pictures he sent shows that he takes pride in his craftsmanship and is thorough in his work. Tom is absolutely the best electrician I have found so far, and I'll be contacting him again for future work when needed.

Unfortunately I wish I was able to give them -5 stores because this is really not good customer services I gave them a call last week he told me he could squeeze me in next Friday on the 17th and he will come around eight or nine but when time came they did not show up plus they did not give me a phone call and people probably asked me why did I not give them a phone call what was the reason for me to call them basically they need to call me if something was changed in our appointment

Tom is a consummate professional and was always responsive to my requests. The team that came out to install my light fixtures were timely, communicative, efficient and knowledgeable. They say there's no such thing as good customer service anymore but TD West Electric proves otherwise. Definitely use them if you have lighting/electrical needs, they are the real deal.

I contacted Tom based on the reviews here, Tom was very responsive and answered all her questions we needed to install a replacement dining light over the dining table, and he was able to fit us in his schedule the same week in a few days. The person that came out to install the light was Salvador and he was a sweet person and install the light with no issues, and helped with the old light to break down and we discarded. We are happy with the installation and it was quick and easy, it was $250 for the first two hours which it took less than two hours to do. If you need an electrician I would call Tom at TD West Electric.

We had a wonderful and sincerely appreciative experience with (I believe, Tom) from TD West Electric. I originally had called to inquire about services they offer and cost of such service in order for us to financially plan. From start to finish, he was incredibly helpful, professional, quick to respond, and above all, patient and kind - very difficult to find a business with all of these qualities. We did not end up needing the services we had inquired about, but that didn't stop him from taking the time to speak with me and answer my questions. At no point did it seem like a bother at all - in fact, he seemed to be quite passionate about everything he was speaking about. I sincerely appreciate and wholeheartedly recommend TD West Electric, especially if exceptional customer service is important to you.

My folks needed to change the prong on an outlet in anticipation of a dryer installation.

I got in touch with Tom and TD West Electric by phone, and within two business days my family's project was finished.

My communication with Tom was primarily through text, as I would send pictures of the outlet and the immediate space. As a result, Tom had all the tools needed before even stopping by!

The most amazing electricians I have had the pleasure of working with. They installed 8 recessed lights in the ceiling the day after I reached out to them. They did a great job and were extremely reasonable price-wise. Couldn't be more pleased! Highly recommend!!

Overall, we had a great experience with TD West.

We had a few outlets stop working in a room, and the breaker for that room did not trip. It was important that we got it fixed fairly quickly given that the space is highly utilized.

We reached out for quotations, and Dinh was very fast in responding to our request alongside a few other good electricians in the Bay Area. The difference was that he also suggested a few things to quickly check before booking him to see if he could save us some money. While those quick checks did not fix anything, the quick thinking in options trying to help us was a preview of how his technical Sal worked while he was onsite.

While they got hung up on a job before coming, Sal did show up within the expected time. He walked in with his utility belt, shoe covers, and tools ready to go. There was zero waiting or extraneous discussion. He was professional and jumped right on the problem and figured out what was wrong within about 15 minutes. The entire experience was smooth, and he finished up in 45 minutes.

As a consumer, I feel it is important to make aware that the minimum labor was 2 hours, and that was what they charged me at a rate of $250. While I probably could have shopped around for cheaper, the result was what I wanted.

As for areas to improve? They are small:

-- I would suggest that their technician brings a small vacuum in the future to clean up debris from removing the wall trim for some of the outlets. He did not clean that up, which is not a big deal, but it would have been nice given the rate
-- I misunderstood that since the labor was 2 hr minimum, that Sal would be showing up to help from 10am-12pm. Instead 10am-12pm was the arrival window, which is why I was sitting around wondering where he was at 10:20am. Not a big deal, and luckily I had carved out extra time.

Like I mentioned at the start, overall, this was a great experience, and I would use them again!
