Taft Electric Company is the largest electrical contractor in Ventura County, proudly serving our community for over 67 years. Taft holds licenses for California A, B, and C-10, enabling us to undertake work in all areas, both commercial and residential. Taft is recognized as a competitive player in solar electricity, focusing on comprehensive electrical solutions. Our capabilities include everything from utility work to modernizing lighting systems. Taft can install complete electrical systems, including industrial controls, fire alarm systems, photovoltaic setups, commercial lighting, and both high and low voltage systems.

For over 63 years, Taft Electric has supported the construction industry with a dedicated team of over 234 employees. Established in 1947 near our present office in Ventura, California, we incorporated in 1965, led by our owner, W.E. (Bud) Hartman.

Brian is the Senior Energy Consultant at Taft. Brian holds California State certification as an electrician and has 13 years of experience. Brian completed a five-year electrical apprenticeship and graduated in 2007. His passion lies in solar electricity. For the past four years, he has worked as a field foreman and project coordinator. Brian has advanced to become the solar energy manager at Taft, significantly enhancing our competitiveness in the solar market. He exemplifies the professionalism and craftsmanship we expect at Taft.
