Taft Electric Company is the largest electrical contractor in Ventura County, proudly serving our community for over 67 years. We are licensed to handle projects under California A, B, and C-10 classifications across all sectors, including commercial and residential. Taft is proficient in installing comprehensive electrical systems, which encompass industrial controls, fire alarms, photovoltaic systems, and both high and low voltage lighting.

With a history spanning over 63 years, Taft Electric has been a reliable partner in the construction industry, employing more than 234 skilled professionals. Established in 1947 near our present office in Ventura, California, we incorporated in 1965, led by our owner, W.E. (Bud) Hartman.

Brian serves as our Senior Energy Consultant. Brian holds California State certification as an electrician and has 13 years of experience. After completing a five-year electrical apprenticeship, he graduated in 2007. Brian is passionate about solar energy. For the past four years, he has worked as a field foreman and project coordinator. Brian now leads our solar energy division, driving Taft's competitiveness in the solar sector.
