For more than 67 years, Taft Electric Company has been Ventura County's leading electrical contractor, dedicated to our community. Taft holds licenses for California A, B, and C-10, enabling us to undertake work in all areas, both commercial and residential. We are a leading contractor in solar electricity, specializing in every facet of electrical services. We cover a wide range of services, from utility installations to retrofitting lighting. Taft can install complete electrical systems, including industrial controls, fire alarm systems, photovoltaic setups, commercial lighting, and both high and low voltage systems.

For over 63 years, Taft Electric has supported the construction industry with a dedicated team of over 234 employees. Founded in 1947 just a few blocks from our current office in Ventura, California, we became incorporated in 1965 under the leadership of our owner, W.E. (Bud) Hartman.

Brian is the Senior Energy Consultant at Taft. With 13 years of experience, Brian is a certified electrician in California. He graduated in 2007 after finishing a five-year electrical apprenticeship. Brian is passionate about solar energy. In the last four years, Brian has taken on roles as a field foreman and project coordinator. Brian now leads our solar energy division, driving Taft's competitiveness in the solar sector. Brian embodies the professionalism and craftsmanship that define Taft.
