I was referred to this business by my insurance company for ELECTRICAL work. Really? Someone who runs their electrical business from their home under an investment name?

I looked up all the reviews on both Google and Yelp and they were all terrible. No thanks! I called back my insurance company and told them I wasn't even going to mess with this company.

Mark, still have not received the $75 that you were going to reimburse me for the service fee to First American Home Warranty.

Fair Warning to potential customers to this company, DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY, unless you like poor communication and empty promises.

Why would First American home Warranty continue to use this company?

They deserve XERO stars but one is the lowest you can go. Believe the other reviews. No call, No Show, No return call......zilch.

If your home warranty company assigns them, immediately get it switched to another contractor as these guys will just waste your time and will have to start over.

This is one of those companies that would be out of business if they weren't kept afloat by AHS!

I would give a zero stars if that was possible. This company was assigned by America Home shield to fix a power outlet in my kitchen. The technician came out and charged me ""$95"" additional fee (we already paid $100 deductible). The company claims that American home shield will give me an invoice. I called American home shield and they have not heard anything about the money and have no record of it. I let this company know about the issue and was told that ""somebody will contact me tomorrow."" That was almost 6 days ago. Horrible company.

The worse electric company visit ever. Rude dismissive technician who, as it turns out, isn't even a service guy--and never followed up after guessing at the problems. The First American Home Warranty Company who sent them should remove them from service immediately.

T & J Investment was assigned as the contractor for my ceiling fan issue by First American Home Warranty. The contractor arrived and spent 2 minutes looking at the fan before saying he'll need a replacement part but doesn't have time to replace it now and that the company will contact me to schedule a follow-up appointment for the replacement.

A few days later, I logged into FAHW to report an unrelated issue and noticed this service request was marked complete with no notes from the contractor. I called FAHW and they reopened the service request for me. Two weeks later, no contact from the contractor so I called them to try and schedule the follow-up, but they didn't pick up and I had to leave a voicemail. A week later, still no contact from them so I called FAHW again to escalate. They couldn't get in touch with the contractor either so they reassigned the service request to another contractor.

That new contractor just left after diagnosing a potential incompatibility between our light bulbs and the light fixture that could be causing our issue. I thanked him and mentioned he was the second electrician we had sent out. He asked if the first was T & J Investment and said he's finding himself following them around lately.

If you're assigned T & J Investment as the contractor for any issue by your home warranty, ask for someone else.

***BEWARE!! *** I called First American Warranty and filed a claim. They sent a someone who is not qualified to do the job. He came with no understanding of the problem and kept calling someone to walk him through diagnostics. They then tried to charge me on the side and said First American won't cover it. I called First AM and they said they will cover it. Highly UNETHICAL!!

If I could write no stars I would. A total waste of time. They were sent by First American Home Warranty. If First American Home Warranty wants to send you this company, do what you can to get a different company.

A total waste of time, and I'd place it in the scam category. Once the dude came out, he said he had to ""get approval"" to do any work. I've never heard back, until Mark called again and he must have bad record keeping because he called back and said that he was sent from First American Home as if it was his first contact with me. I reminded him that he said he was going to get back with me a month prior, and he said he'd call back...still nothing.

Scam scam scam...First American Home Warranty, shame on you!!! Listen to your customers. I tried to appeal the $75 scam charge, but First American keeps sending me the $75 charge for this.

If you're thinking of this company, dont do it!

A tech was sent out by 2-10 Home Warranty. (It took 3 weeks for them to contact me) Joaquin, who came to the call, told me my led downlights that were out were not covered. He said he called to check and the warranty didn't cover led lights. I told him I had supreme coverage and a copy with me and it should be. He said he confirmed it was not, but... he could fix for me on his own and I could just pay him. I already had to pay 75.00 for service fee per warranty agreement. He wanted me to pay 60 more plus 40$ for lights. I said no and he finally talked me into just paying 40 for lights, saying he would put them in for free, and this always happened with home warranties not covering things. I called 2-10 the following week to find out why they didn't cover the service. They said they did and he never called and should have had copy of warranty. When I called T&J to complain, Teddy said that I should just call 2-10 and it wasn't their problem it wasn't covered (IT WAS!) and was totally rude. They obviously do this all the time, this is how they operate, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! OH, and Joaquin said the lights he put in were so much better quality than the ones he replaced, and of course, they were the exact same lights. I don't know how home warranty places keep using them... terrible!! These business practices will catch up them eventually. Had I paid Joaquin the 100$, I doubt he was going to share that cash with T & J. He also gave me his personal # to use him on the side. Smh...

Worst and most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Mike came out to fix my lighting issues and completed half of the work. I was told they would be getting back to me to finish the job and never received a call or heard from them since. I've left several messages and was even told a supervisor would return my call and still nothing. They are avoiding all of my calls and American Home Shield is now in the process of canceling their contract with them due to several other complaints. Do NOT do business with this company!!
