After all the reviews I read I was hesitant to use their service, but happy that my experience was positive. 2 outlets at my kitchen stopped working at the same time, we restarted the breakers, didn't help. It took quite a bit to schedule an appointment - 3 weeks from the date we contacted the home warranty to the date a technician came in. They send you a text at least 1 hr in advance to confirm that the technician is on the way and the time he's coming. When Charles came in, it took him 20 min to fix the issue, and I couldn't be more than happy with the service, especially given that my previous experience with the home warranty services was not that good.

I definitely wouldn't recommend this company. Charles is the name of the guy that was dispatched. He called saying he was at the front door which was a lie (we have cameras). When we attempted to call back literally less than 2 minutes after he called, we got no answer. Contact the company, no answer. Left a message, no response. So I called our home warranty company & they said that Switch told them no one answered the door so they're not coming back. Again, that was a lie & I was perfectly fine w/ no one ""coming back"" b/c I would never wanna deal w/ a company that's so unprofessional. ESPECIALLY after reading other reviews.

I was assigned Switch electric by home warranty. After waiting forever to get someone troubleshooting, the claim was rejected by the warranty company based on Switch electric tech report. I asked Switch to fix the problem and I will pay out of pocket. They said they will send me an estimate of the cost. They never did. I contacted them multiple times through phone, email and text. No response. I finally hired an independent electrician and lo and behold the problem is something totally different from what Switch tech reported. He fixed it in couple of hours.
Don't waste your time and money. Switch electric has terrible customer service and poor technicians.

Sent out by American Home Shield for a home warranty repair. Total fail. Came out 2 diff times, 2 diff techs, both diagnosed the same problem and didn't fix it. No way to contact them. Unresponsive. Wasted $100 on the service call. Had to call another electrician on our own that came out and fixed the problem in 10 minutes replacing a fuse on our panel. We cancelled American Home Shield as a result of this also. They are always looking for a way to not cover what you pay them for.

I was referred to Switch electric by my home warranty company. After reading some of the reviews on Yelp, I was doubtful that I would have a positive experience. Well, I can tell you how pleasantly surprised I was when Charles and an assistant showed up: not only were they super courteous, knowledgeable and professional, but they took the time to explain the results and fixed the electrical issues without a hitch. I can't recommend them highly enough - whatever transpired in the past has appeared to be resolved. Great work Switch Electric!

This company is not professional.
I request service from First American warranty, Charly come after two weeks of the problem and check out the attic fan.
After that he tell me yes the fan have problem.
After one week I call the insurance and the insurance tell me the fan does have any problems .

DON'T LET THEM IN YOUR HOUSE!
They are thieves and are also incompetent.
They came to look at a breaker problem we were having. They collected the $75 fee, said they were going to get authorization from the home warranty company, and then made an excuse so they would not have to come back and do the actual work. It took several phone calls to the home warranty company to get the mess they created straightened out so I could get another company to come to make the repairs.
As for the thieves accusation, they stole an envelope of money that was intended for a charity. I forgot it was in the kitchen where they were working and just an hour or so after their departure, I realized it was missing. I never found it and I am sure that is why they made an excuse not to return to complete the work. Since it was for a charity, I replaced the money myself. Not only did they not make the repair but they cost me money, too. Nice Christmas gift!
