Look, you can find people who are electricians and you can find a company that does that plus is easy to communicate with, efficient and provides great communication. I rather the latter and will never NOT use Super Fast Electric in the future. Super friendly, decent price, great attention to detail, lots of explanation and an appointment 2 weeks sooner than promised originally (cancellation). I've lived here for several years and lately was seeing some issues with the lights flickering and acting up within my kitchen area which was worrisome so I placed a call in for a review of my electrical wiring with SFE. A tech came out and he checked all the electrical outlets and gave me some good news but also found some flaws which needed correcting. He provided four different work suggestions and I went with the first one which was repairing the issues of my main panel not being standardized and being very old. The office went about getting the proper permits needed which took a few weeks and then I received an email almost a week and a half beforehand stating the date which the technician would come in to do the work, time frame between 8 - 12pm. Early that morning, I already received a text stating that the technician would be arriving. He was knocking on my door by 8:10am. I left the garage open while he promptly went about getting the installation of a new 150amp main panel, new 60amp disconnect for AC surge protection, new grounding system and surge protection done. In the time he was working, I went to the library, visited my parents and around 3pm, I received a call that he was waiting on the Casselberry inspector to check on the work and that I could head back. By the time I made it home some 20 minutes after, it was all good to go. I walked through the house turning on all the switches and making sure everything that needed to power up worked fine. He gave me a break down of all the work done, emailed me the paperwork and pictures of the work plus provided me the documentation. Extremely professional every step of the way.

I couldn't even schedule service. I was interested in getting my ceiling fans rewired for two switches to control the fan and lights separately.

They sent a tech out which then provided me with an estimate. Their solution provided was a bit higher than I expected, so I asked for a new estimate for just the one room. It took exactly 5 business days to receive the new estimate after having to follow up with the electrician, since he apparently missed my message. I then contacted that tech again to speak about it and schedule the service. Again... no response after an entire week. So then I call the main office and the women told me she would contact him. It has now been another 4 business days since we spoke and I still haven't heard back from anyone.

Needless to say, seems silly I have to chase after them for business, especially after they charged me a fee for providing the estimates. I have decided to take my money elsewhere.

I'd called during the Xmas holiday. Left a message for a non emergency but hoped for a call back sooner than later as there was no message they were closed during this period. All aside, this didn't bother me much but would have appreciated a recording stating we're closed and will get back to you...I did get a call back after the holiday break, tried to coordinate the appointment given, but by the time I called back with our availability, within a few hours, their appts were already filled up. Still get that. The scope of the work was a two bedroom condo electrical consultation with a must have new electrical panel, installing multiple lights...removing lights, relocating outlets, rewiring but.....they could not trim down their estimate appt time to 2 hours instead of 4. We are blessed we're able to work but can't always be available on notice. Even 2 hours would have made a difference. Four hours not. Sorry to say this Company was highly recommended to me but to have them deny a two hour window? I also asked for Steve as recommended but was told he no longer worked for individual people or for questions. I've seen a few reviews that don't support that.

Steve was kind enough to follow up and come out for an estimate. He spent considerable time going over all our electrical issues, concerns and questions. We're currently working on pricing out our multiple phases for the scope of work needed.
Steve went above and beyond and I now see why there are so many positive 5 Star reviews which I have changed mine to five as well.

As a new homeowner, every little thing can be scary. When we had some issues with outlets, pool lights not working, and a hardwired garbage disposal that needed the wiring removed, we knew we needed to have an electrician out. Add COVID to that mix and it makes things even more stressful.

I did some research and found Super Fast Electric. I sent over an email with a list of things that needed to be looked at and Colleen gave me a call back a short while later to set up an appointment for someone to come out and take a look at everything. We picked a date that worked best for both of us and Carlos came out, on time, to take a look.

Carlos took a look at all the issues we were having and was able to give us a quote for all the work that needed to be done. He would've been able to do the job on the spot but had a long commute to his next one so we opted to think things over and do the job on a different day.

He came out again and completed the work that we discussed with no issues at all. He was very friendly and wore a mask the entire time. We are very happy with the work done.

The next time we need an electrician, we'll be calling Super Fast Electric for sure!

**UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW**

After airing my frustration here super fast electric reached out to me directly to come to an understanding. They explained to me how their pricing works and clarified a misunderstanding had at the time received the estimate. They were able to bring the total price down to an amount think would be fair for what was a misunderstanding. I believe the care and understanding they take with their customers may not be matched by other companies. Given the way the estimates work can totally see how that would be beneficial for a job that may not be clear at first. I would totally recommend them to anyone who asks. Furthermore the price they quoted for a full rewire of my home is more than fair and based on the conversation we had knowing that the price won't change makes me feel secure. They also have a 10 year warranty on their work which totally sends the message that they stand by their work.

The technician who worked on the problem did an amazing job. He followed all covid protocols and fixed the issue really quickly maybe within 2 hours. He was amazing at explaining the problem. Honestly they should hire more people like him he was great with my dogs and considered my understanding of the situation. I'd say I'm 100% satisfied with how he handled everything.

Where I did have an issue was on the price and how estimates work. I had an issue where two lights and an outlet were out in my bathroom. Originally the estimate was pretty hefty at $900 which I thought was a little high and I was expecting somewhere around the $400 range. After learning of the estimate I asked if it turned out to be a simpler issue to fix could it be adjusted and he said yes. I assumed maybe his boss would hear him out but I guess maybe that wasn't the case here. I think the technician did all he could to bring down the price but maybe a manager wasn't allowing it because maybe the estimate was set in stone? I don't know how that works. What my personal opinion is when the work is done and the technician relays the info of what was done there should be some sort of understanding from management that maybe they are charging far too much.

To summarize my frustration I paid $850 for 2hrs of work where all that was changed was a connector in a fan, so it's not like the price is justified in materials either. I think estimates should go both ways. If we find the work to be easier than originally expected and less parts then the price should decrease significantly and vice versa if the opposite. Also maybe consider what your technician actually did for work because that price just isn't justified. I was thinking of doing a whole house rewiring with them based on the technicians rapport alone but kind of turned off by it after all that.

Called Steve and he came right on time to give me an estimate to install a Rheem ""Smart"" 50 Gal Ele Water Heater. David came out and did an excellent job, took my old water heater away also, and as always, I'm fully satisfied of their work.

What a great and easy experience! The hardest part was understanding some of the electrician terms that I'm unfamiliar with, haha, but the electrician, Steve, was even great at explaining those.

I just bought a house and needed an electrician to come to take a look at some things. The customer service that I received beforehand from Colleen, who helped me set up the appointment was amazing. Then when Steve came, he was super friendly, helpful, and really took his time explaining his findings to me. I would absolutely recommend Super Fast to anyone that I know who is in need of an electrician.
