Joe Strada, founder of Strada Services, started his journey at the age of 14. He committed himself to mastering his craft and delivering outstanding service to his clients.
At 19, Joe joined a prominent air conditioning firm. Throughout his career, he recognized a demand for reliable electrical contractors in Florida who shared his commitment to customer service.
In 2003, Joe co-founded Strada Services. Our team delivers professional electrical, security, and HVAC services. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer care, quick service, and dependability.
Joe S is a certified master electrician in Florida and Georgia. He holds various Florida state licenses, including Plumbing, Air Conditioning, General Contractor, and Home Inspector. Since 1983, he has focused on providing excellent service to clients.

Terri N.If you are going to buy out a company you need to take care of their clients. You ignored our calls and e-mails and basically left us in a jam. It wasn't our fault you bought One Stop during our AC installation. Be wary of these guys!

Samuel H.Strata representative, Kevin Baxter did some electrical at my home today. I was given a time between noon and 4:00pm when he would show up, he arrived shortly after 1:00pm. I had a ground fault receptacle needing replaced, removal of a surge protector and correction on multiple double tab connections in my main electrical panel. After showing the work to Kevin, he gathered his tools out of his truck and went right to work, completing everything needed. He was knowledgeable, efficient, wasted no time at all. He was polite and explained while he was completing the work. Unfortunately I don't have the name of the lady I initially spoke to, but she was very pleasant and was definitely customer service focused. I have never heard of Strada but would not hesitate to call them for future electrical work.
I was in contact with them last week and was told I would get a call back to discuss and issue occurring from a previous res placement and never did.
Now after the hurricane I was without power for 3 days and after it came back on the A/C is not working. So I have been calling since yesterday evening and they keep saying a tech will call me back. Finally I get someone to transfer me to a tech that said he could come out. After discussing he said he needed to talk to his supervisor and would call back in 5 minutes. It's been over an hour and he hasn't responded, won't pick up calls, and has a full voicemail.
Terrible customer service. I wish One Stop never got bought by them.
Update: The review was updated from 1 to 3 stars for the following reason. Once the week started, the full time customer service people were very nice and attentive and it seems the after hour representatives were the bad eggs (they sounded and acted like they could care less and did everything they could to not stay in contact).
I was finally able to get someone out here to fix the issue and they were very helpful and informative.
However, due to the experience of the after hour representatives and those dealt with over the weekend I can't update past 3 stars.
J. S.I've used them once ...2 months ago. AC cut out..ended up being a minor issue but they were at my house within 1 day in the middle of summer. They had it up and running in 1 hour. Price was about $100 less than DelAir typically charged me in the past. I have no reason to doubt their abilities. I'm hoping to get 1 or 2 more years out of my current system. I will continue to call Strada for maintenance issues until that time. If all goes well I will certainly look to them for a replacement unit when the time comes.
Jaclyn G.Attention all One Stop (OS) now recently acquired by Strada Services (SS) customers. In short should you have purchased a Service Warranty Plan (SWP) by OS it will not be honored as of 8/11 (and possibly before then per past reviewers). Parts may be covered due to your manufacturer warranty but keep in mind any AC servicer will be able to cover parts should your unit still be in its manufacturer warranty period. In order to compensate for these warranties OS now SS is charging excessive labor charges to its previous OS warranty customers. I was quoted a labor charge approximately $600-800 more than three other local AC companies to fix an evaporator coil/TXV valve. Do not hire this company. Customer service will not get back to you efficiently and you will be overcharged.
I bought a new construction townhome in 12/18 with an AC unit installed by OS. In 4/20 my high pressure valve broke. We purchased a Service Warranty Plan (SWP) in 2020 which we have kept and renewed each year most recently in 3/22 for over $400. In early 8/22 on a Thursday my AC unit was not cooling appropriately so I called OS. After a failed overnight call I called again the next morning and was scheduled for an appointment the following Monday from 8-1 pm. At 1:05 pm on Monday my technician had not showed up. It took about 45 minutes worth of calling from multiple phone lines and being placed on hold to reach a representative at One Stop who answered the phone as ""Strada Services"" to my surprise. I was told my technician was running behind and I was the next stop. At 3:30 pm the technician still had not arrived. I called again and was told he had stopped somewhere else before me. At 4:35 my technician arrived without the 30 minute call ahead I was promised by two employees on the phone. My unit was diagnosed with an interior leak and patched ""for approximately $1,000 worth of labor/parts but good thing I had the SWP because this would be expensive"" per the technician. I was charged $25 per my contract and told the part was not on hand and had to be ordered and fixed at a later date. The following morning I was called by Marissa from the parts department and a voicemail was left saying I had to approve $1400 in order to order the evaporation coil and TXV part. All day I could not get through to one person at One Stop/Strada. I was told by a receptionist my warranty would be honored and they'd have someone from service or parts call me back. No one did. The next day I called again and finally got through to someone who said as of Thursday August 11 they were not honoring the SWP. My parts were covered under my manufacturer warranty but I would owe $1400 in labor alone despite my plan being honored two days ago. Two days prior everything was covered under the same ticket that was not resolved. The original man I spoke with even stated he felt my quote was high, but upon speaking with parts it was the correct quote for labor. One Stop now Strada has quoted me a significantly higher charge compared to 3 other AC companies to fix the same problem.
Per the man spoken with who denied my SWP One Stop has been acquired and filed bankruptcy. If Strada has in fact only purchased the assets of this company then current and future customers should know you will be burned and uncompensated. I used to find both One Stop and Strada reputable companies but their customer service, efficiency and inability to handle a transition has changed this opinion greatly.
I wish I had seen the below reviews before calling them and dealing with such incompetent and rude customer service. I encourage you to seek alternative companies whether large or small.
I ironically use Strada Services for my security as they performed my installation in 2019. They have replaced my entire circuit breaker as Strada Electric in 2022 after multiple failed breakers from initially installing faulty ones and taking fault for it. I'm incredibly disappointed in their acquisition of the AC department and would never consider services with this company again.
Kathy H.Ken Harris, our Strada AC Residential Replacement Specialist, worked with us to replace our ailing 17 year old HVAC system. After looking over our existing equipment, Ken carefully explained what he recommended for our house and personal needs. He offered us an excellent price for a new Carrier system and we had our system installed within 3 days of signing our contract. Ken selected a thermostat with WiFi which he assured me was easy to program. He did not disappoint. The installers were professional, efficient and respectful. Strada offers a very affordable replacement air filters online service which I took advantage of. They also have a reasonably priced maintenance contract as well. I'm a first time customer of Strada Services and I am very satisfied with my decision.
William M.Len and Henry came out to my home and fixed a problem that I caused myself. I was drilling a hole in the drywall to insert a molly bolt, when I saw a spark and the circuit breaker turned off. I looked into the drilled hole and saw a reflection, so I knew that I had hit a wire. I called Strada where Jeff handled my case with courtesy. He scheduled Len and Henry to come within 48 hours of the incident. The two electricians worked expertly and efficiently and had us back in business in no time. The cost was very fair. Thanks for the quick fix.
They suck you into a contract that you can not get out of. I had a Dr write a note to try and get the contract cancelled because I had lost my job and the stress was piling up. They didn't care and very rarely respond to emails. I have never used the system. No compassion during this trying year that we have all had. I would not recommend
Kurt D.If you need an electrician, don't come here. We just purchased a new home and Strada Electric wired the entire house. While cleaning our kitchen cabinets today we noticed the large holes in the dry wall and live wires that are wrapped together with electrical tape like an apprentice put this together. It makes me wonder how crappy the rest of the house is wired.
