Founded by Raymond Starr in 1928, Starr Electric Company, Inc. started as a solo venture in a modest office on North Green Street in Greensboro, NC. Despite the hardships of the Depression Era, the company thrived and grew. By 1942, Starr Electric welcomed Raymond Starr's brothers, J.W. and Roy, to the team.
