In 1928, Raymond Starr launched Starr Electric Company, Inc. as a single-person operation in a tiny office on North Green Street in Greensboro, NC. The company weathered the storms of the Depression Era and continued to expand. By 1942, Starr Electric welcomed Raymond Starr's brothers, J.W. and Roy, to the team.
