Founded by Raymond Starr in 1928, Starr Electric Company, Inc. started as a solo venture in a modest office on North Green Street in Greensboro, NC. The company weathered the storms of the Depression Era and continued to expand. In 1942, J.W. and Roy, the brothers of Raymond Starr, joined the company.
