In 1928, Raymond Starr launched Starr Electric Company, Inc. as a single-person operation in a tiny office on North Green Street in Greensboro, NC. Despite the hardships of the Depression Era, the company thrived and grew. By 1942, Starr Electric welcomed Raymond Starr's brothers, J.W. and Roy, to the team.
