We bought a house in Martinez and boy-oh-boy what a little money pit it has been. We've talked with many many contractors and have to say to get everything fixed. Kyle is super-friendly and provides excellent customer service. He quoted me to install an outlet in the kitchen and to install a remote for the ceiling fan. He went above the call of duty by installing a complete new ceiling fan without charging me any more money above what he initially estimated. I asked Spingola to stop by for an estimate for replacing my electric panel. Kyle/owner inspected the panel and suggested to start with changing out the breaker as a first step to see if that solves the problem I was experiencing vs. a complete rip/replace of the existing panel. I had bought a breaker at Homedepot and Kyle was kind enough to quickly pop it into place (I had tried earlier to do it, but didn't do it correctly) at no charge. I had received quotes from other electricians ranging in the $1K-$2K range without the suggestion of trying a massively cheaper option of changing out only the breaker as a first step. So far, due to Kyle's advice, we haven't had any further electric issues.

His honest, straight-forward advice has earned him a customer if I need any future electric work done to my house.

Kyle came over after I asked for a quote on some issues we were having. After checking thing, tightening connections and replacing some breakers, he told me to call PG&E to check the input cables. He was right! PG&E came that night and replaced the wire from the pole - main problem solved! Now he will do the small things I needed but he has already saved me a bunch. My electrician from here on out.

I called Kyle (owner) and he called back almost immediately. He has excellent communication skills. He was able to work me into his schedule the same day and within a few hours to resolve an emergency issue. He also provides tips on how to prevent the problems in the future. Keep in mind his flat rate is $300 (but you get effective, fast, honest, quality work).

Nothing but good things to say about Spingola Electric. Recently I had a breaker that was not tripping and led to a loud buzzing sound with heat and smoke. After manually turning off power, I contacted Spingola Electric who were able to schedule a timely service call. The technician/owner Kyle arrived on time and was professional and courteous. After discussion and review he was able to determine the issue (combination of factors) and provide an immediate solution to ensure my safety. In addition, he advised of actions I can take to avoid further issues along with options he could provide (additional circuits to balance power use) which I will pursue.

Kyle's explanation and advice was very helpful and led to me knowing I was safe in my home which was not the case prior to his arrival.
