***UPDATE - FIVE STAR REVIEW ON PANEL INSTALL & RUNNING CONDUIT TO NEW A/C UNITS***
Due to extreme heat INSIDE our home (over 100 degrees for several days at a time) we decided to have a ductless mini-split system installed in our home. The sub panel we had in our garage was already packed to the hilt, and would not support the amperage required for the mini-split system.
Because of the great experience we had with Kyle, I contacted him to come out and do an estimate. He quickly ascertained that we would need to upgrade our outside panel to a giant 200 amp system, (which was wonderful, because at some point, we want to install solar on our roof.)

Kyle asked to have a copy of the mini-split estimate, so he could check into all the specs of the system. He also wanted the name and contact information of the installer, in the event he had questions.

Because we have a challenging Eichler home, with no attic, Kyle would have to run conduit for one the mini-split system up and over our roof. He wanted to be sure the areas would be properly marked, beforehand, so he could cleanly run the conduit and boxes to the appropriate places.

Kyle did everything 100% by the book. He filed the proper permits with the city. He asked me fill out an online request with PG&E, and once I received a confirmation number, his wife/partner, arranged a date for them to come out and meet him at our home to run new wiring to our home.

Kyle brought two hard-working men with him. I noticed while they were here, he treated them kindly and with respect. This is import to me, as I have a hard time supporting businesses that treat their workers like crap. Kyle was very nice to his people, and they seemed to enjoy working with him.

I'm not an electrician (which is why we hired Kyle), but just by sight, his work looked super clean. Like, squeaky clean. The way he ran the conduit on the roof on risers was impressive.

As part of the permit process, per Kyle's request, When the work was complete, I arranged for the the city/county inspector to come out. When he was looking inside the panel, I heard the inspector talking to himself, ""Yep. Looks good. Great. Okay. Perfect. Awesome. Okay. Great."" He checked the boxes (at the site of the A/C units, ""Perfect. Okay. Awesome."" At the end, the inspector said, ""This guy's work is super pro and clean."" And he signed off on the permits.

If you are looking for an electrician, Kyle Spingola is your man.
He is totally honest. He won't jack you around or use scare tactics like some other local electricians.
He does everything by the book.
His prices are more than fair.
He does ""super pro and clean work"" (ask the city inspector).
He's just an all-round good person.

Spingola Electric came out this week, did my Tesla level 2 charger and installed a 30 amp outlet for our trailer. The whole process from calling to estimate to job completion was excellent. Kyle, the owner came out for the estimate and he was the one doing all of the work along with his apprentice. They were prompt, friendly, professional and quick. Kyle knew exactly what to do since I wasn't sure what was needed regarding our main panel and sub panel.
The Tesla charger is great to have and so is the RV plug. I highly recommend Spingola Electric.

Kyle came out and went through the list I had prepared. His bid was competitive and fair. The work started on time but did take longer than planned but [as always] the unforeseen shows itself. I had 2 electricians the first day and was impressed at the measuring and care they put into installing recessed ceiling lights. John continued the installation of LED fixtures and replacement of outlets including raising up 2 outdoor outlets that had been installed below the soil line of a garden bed.
Everyone was pleasant and courteous but expert in their work, including office staff.
I love my warm LEDs at night and having plugs NO LONGER falling out of dated outlets!

Hands Down the Best Electrician
We bought a house in Martinez and boy-oh-boy what a little money pit it has been. We've talked with many many contractors and have to say to get everything fixed.
