They responded quickly and did a great job. We spoke by phone and texted pictures for my EV Tesla charger. They were in within a week and done within hours. He set everything up on Wifi and had clearly done this before. He had to change some breakers but didn't try to upsell me on a bigger project. Highly recommend them!!

I contacted South Bay Electric to report electrical issues, and Ian generously provided guidance pro bono. He patiently explained the troubleshooting steps, allowing me to identify the problem. It was a problem I couldn't fix. Ian's son, who was kind and friendly, came the following day and promptly replaced the faulty receptacle, reset the breaker, reset the GFCI's and restored functionality. Excellent service!

I hired South Bay Electric to repair a corroded electrical conduit and install a new GFCI outlet. Within about a day, Ian called me to step up a time for him to take a look and provide a quote. Although it wasn't a rush, I wanted to get all the work wrapped up before a trip and Ian was able to get his team out to my house within a few days. Wow! South Bay Electric Company is a lifesaver, specifically Ian Marsh! My wife reached out through Yelp this morning due to our electricity suddenly cutting out when I hit the light switch in the bathroom as I was about to hop in the shower. Ian got back to her within minutes of reaching out.

We live in a single-wide trailer and are planning to move soon. We're on a very tight income, hence the reason we're selling our place. We wanted to restore power as soon as possible due to Xander's liquid gold (insulin) sitting in our fridge.

The first thing Ian wanted was some pictures of our electric box and then some pics of the outside of the trailer where the electrical line connects. Instead of telling us he'd come out or send someone, he literally explained to my wife the process to fix it for now. He also sent a link to the part we needed from Amazon. He explained that to properly fix it would be somewhere in the $400 - $500 range, which is an expense we truly can't afford right now.

After they got off the phone, my wife relayed the instructions Ian had given her. I headed out with my sandpaper and taped it up real good with electrical tape. I went to flip the power back on and it worked!!

Thank you so much, Ian! I explained to my son while Mommy was on the phone how unusual this kind of customer service is nowadays. I said, ""This guy just helped us fix our place for free and took time out of his day on Sunday morning to do so.""
