Bogdan from smart choice is super reliable. I had broken control panel with Asko dishwasher. He found out the problem quickly and can back next week to put the new control panel back on. The claim was going through First American Home Warranty. It took around 10 days but at least it gets the job done!

I had an issue with the water and ice maker not getting any water and Smartchoice Appliance repair responded quick to my request and set up the appt and Thomas and Nick showed up first thing following morning and discovered the issue and repaired it pretty quick. The labor cost was reasonable and the issue has been fixed.

Very honest and upfront technicians. Came the next day after requesting a quote. Fast service.

I bought a used dryer on offer up and realized after a week that it was not producing any heat so I called on Monday, and they sent a technician Tuesday morning. His name was Bogdan and he was awesome. He disassembled my dryer and explained to me the previous owner never had it cleaned and properly serviced so there a massive amount of lint build up which he cleaned and then replaced one of the sensors. He reassembled the dryer and now it works great. He was very friendly and walked me through the whole process. Thank you Bogdan and thank you SmartChoice Appliance.

Petr is my technician repair my washer. He's very professional and know the issue. He comes back and replace the part in less than 10 minutes. It's very good experience with Smartchoice Appliance and Petr.

I must say that I am very happy with the service I received from Smart Choice service man Peter. He was punctual, friendly and very professional, but more then that he was very competent in repairing our washer machine. I am fuming! Do not use this company! I placed a call to my home warranty regarding my dryer. There had been 2 power outages, 2 power surges while I was running my machine. Afterward, my machine powered on but the start button only clicked, did not engage. While I waited for the assigned company, SmartChoice, to contact me, I had GE service come out and look at the machine. GE provided an estimate for a new control panel and door switch. Because it would take an extra week to wait for the parts and would cost $673, I has SmartChoice come out. I told the technician about the GE service estimate. Max, the technician, proceeded to tell me, before he even looked at the machine, that it most likely was not the control panel but the belt. He proceed to tear apart the machine, roughly. I left the laundry room and returned in a bit. Max indicated that GE had destroyed the inside of the machine and that it would not be covered by my warranty. It told him that GE did not open up the machine, just ran diagnostics, and then Max said that someone had serviced the machine and that there were a lot of loose wires, damage, etc and that the belt needed to be replaced. He said that the belt that was on the machine was not a GE belt and that is how he knew someone else had worked on the machine. I asked if Max had a GE belt on his truck and he said he didn't think so, but he would might have something that would work. I left the room to get my home warranty company on the phone because I could see how this was going to go down, not in my favor!. Max went to his truck and I went back to the laundry room about 5 minutes later. Max said he did not have a GE belt, but he would see if the one he had would work. Well, it didn't apparently because Max told me the machine would not work and that he would write up his report and send it in. After he left, I went to my laundry room and saw that he left an exposed, disconnected wire hanging out the front of the machine, there was an extra screw on the floor and a broken wire connection tab on the floor. He also left the floor a mess with lint, etc and a broker belt on top of the machine. Because I now had an inoperable machine that not even the GE service person could fix with the parts needed per their estimate, I ended up buying a new machine.
I emailed SmartChoice appliance within 30 minutes of the Service Tech leaving, and I never received a response.
Ask yourself, why would GE Service, (the machine was GE), provide an estimate and order parts to repair the machine, if the parts were not broken, and replacing the parts would not fix the machine? Why would Smartchoice think that GE was wrong? GE didn't tear the machine apart like Smartchoice did, but ran diagnostics. It is pretty obvious to me that the power outages and surges ruined the control panel, since the machine was running when the outage occurred.

I called SmartChoice first thing Monday to service my fridge. I cleaned the coils the previous day with no luck. I didn't think I would get someone the same day but they asked if it was an emergency. It was an emergency since all my frozen meat was starting to thaw out. They scheduled an appointment for later in the evening. The survey tech named Bogdan showed up and was great. He gave an explanation of his entire process and the problem with my compressor. Unfortunately, the cost to replace the compressor/motherboard was similar to the cost of a new fridge. He cleaned the coils professionally to try and give the fridge a few more days of life until I purchase a new fridge. He also gave me recommendations on preferred brands and ones to avoid based on his repair experience. I will highly recommend SmartChoice to friends and family! The service charge was very reasonable as well.

SmartChoice appliances is amazing! We have used them twice for our microwave and dishwasher and both times were great. Super responsive, affordable and knowledgeable. Bogdan just serviced our dishwasher and he couldn't have been any better! We will use again and definitely recommend.
