We had a broken top load washing machine and instead of coming out hitting us with a fee immediately the team at SmartChoice did a remote Q&A with me (I sent photos, etc.). They knew immediately the issue was one of a few problems and researched procuring the parts and the cost. Turns out one of the parts was not available nationally and the other very expensive so it wouldn't have been worth repairing. Very truthworthy team in it for the customer not to collect housecall fees all day!

Smart Choice Appliance was sent by my home warranty company. I was able to set up an appointment quickly for the next day. Peter was very polite and personable. He arrived right on time and fixed my washer in less than an hour. He had the parts needed with him and he did a great job. I recommend this company for repairs.

Peter was right on time. A very courteous young man. He explained why my appliance wasn't working properly & put all my items back & cleaned up before he left. Hopefully if you call Smart Choice Appliance you'll be lucky to have Peter come out. I'm extremely happy & satisfied with this company! We had an issue with our refrigerator making noise and the tech (very nice guy) came out the first time and removed ice from the fan and that seemed to help.

Then the ice maker was not making ice like it did so he came out and checked and didn't see an issue. He said we would replace the ice maker if it happened again.

Once again there was the noise so I opened it up and found ice UNDER the fan that was completely covering up the defroster which was the issue. I asked for a refund of the diagnostic fee and still waiting for the refund.

Turns out it was out of Freon and the valve and receiver needed replacing as well as the fan. It was not even the ice maker to begin with.

I was really impressed with SMARTCHOICE and Bogdan who came to service both my washer and dryer. SMARTCHOICE kept me abreast of the time and what was happening with my parts order. They kept it simple by scheduling the visit on the same day for both appliances. When Bogdan came, he was on time, very pleasant and knowledgeable. He showed me why I was having the issues with my washer and dryer. He was very thorough and patient. He also kept the work area very clean. I really appreciate their great work and professionalism. I have a Cosmo gas range which oven function malfunctioned 11 months after purchase, and the manufacturer warranty outsource repair to this company. They have made 5 visits and still have not been able to repair the oven. Cosmo continued to dodge the repair to them and these people doesn't seem to know what they are doing. Definitely do not recommend SmartChoice Appliance and don't ever buy Cosmo brand appliances. What a piece of junk!

If I could I would give this vendor 0 starts but unfortunately that isn't possible!
This vendor was sent to my House by Sears home warranty.... The technician just looked for ANY excuse bit fix my refrigerator!!! He was young and I could tell he didn't want to work on my fridge.... I should have reported him then!!!
Over a screw that the technician said was damaged and was not covered, my fridge was not fixed....
I strongly suggest that if this vendor is sent to your home, you sent them right back!!! They will not only not help they will look for any excuse not to fix your appliance and then say it isn't covered.....
I DO NOT RECOMMEND EITHER SNARTCHOICE OR SEARS HONE WARRANTY......

I like to support businesses and individuals that do great work at a reasonable price. SmartChoice Appliance - Zach, the owner, is such a person/company. Zach came out and diagnosed an old dishwasher that came with my condo I recently purchased. And fixed it. Done, no issues. Zach was on time, diagnosed with great skill and knowledge, and was very pleasant and articulate. I actually enjoyed speaking with him! Can't recommend him more for solid, quick and thorough work!

They were quick to respond. Friendly and court. We had to wait couple days for the new part to arrive, otherwise quick replacement and dryer back up and running.
