This is the second job we've done with Nic and he is really great at his work! This was an install of a heavy chandelier and he needed to replace the lightweight box with a heavy duty one. He was exactly on time first of all, which is amazing with contractors Second, he got the work done efficiently and effectively. Third, he cleaned up after himself when he was done and lastly, his estimate was right on.

Will definitely use Nic again and can't recommend him highly enough!

Nic was GREAT!! My husband called him for a couple of electrical jobs we needed done. He responded quickly, fixed the problems and was priced fairly. There was one component that we needed for the repair so as soon as we bought it, he returned to finish the job without charging us an additional service charge. A contractor that returns your call immediately, does the job well and doesn't overcharge??Who could ask for more?? He definitely goes into my book for the ""go to"" electrician.

Nic came by on short notice (within two hours of the call) to help out with a small electrical problem. He was friendly, professional, and explained all of the steps to me since I'm always curious about learning how things work. He also gave a rough estimate about possibly putting in a ceiling fan down the road. Sometimes, you just know that someone is good to work with and I got that vibe immediately from Nic. We'll definitely be using Simpson Electric again if we need anything (though hopefully not soon, since that usually means something's going horribly wrong).

Nic is amazing! He somehow sorted the mangled rat's nest of wires and wood chips in our attic into a tidy functioning circuit! He replaced our old light cans and shoddy, unsafe wiring. He worked expertly, quickly, and his price is very competitive. He's a consummate professional. We will be calling him in the future for other projects as we get to them. I can't say enough good things about him and also Bob who he brought to help out.

He also gave us great recommendations for other trustworthy contractors. We really appreciate that as first-time homeowners because we do have a lot of other stuff that needs fixing but don't really know anyone.

Nic was fantastic! He wore booties to keep our carpets clean, was courteous, clearly very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the trouble with our bathroom fan/light unit. He generously replaced a part that was not necessary but recommended from a preventative maintenance point of view. I will call Nic first for all future electric needs!

Nic Simpson (Simpson Electric) was sent to my home by my home warranty company. I can't say enough about Nic. To make it easy, here is why he gets 5 stars:

- Friendly/Courteous: Nic contacted me by phone the same day I called my home warranty company to schedule an appointment. He was extremely friendly and courteous on the phone. Made it easy to schedule something that worked for me. He was just as friendly and courteous in person.

-Dependable: Arrived ON TIME (maybe even early...). We're all busy, and the last thing you want is to be waiting into the last 30 minutes of your 2 hour window. Nic arrived when he said he would.

- Professional: Introduced himself immediately, was dressed appropriately, and well groomed.

- Knowledgeable: Very familiar with what the home warranty covers/doesn't cover. Has experience with older homes. Happy to impart his knowledge.

There is no doubt that I will be contacting Nic when we decide to upgrade a few things in our house and need an electrician. He is the best!

Nic was assigned to me through our home warranty company.
We were very pleased with his work and thoroughness
He arrived on time and actually on Memorial Day.

We were having an issue with our heater that had to do with an electrical issue.
He spent the time to check all of our panels, went up to our dusty attic, through different rooms to try and figure out the issue.

I failed to mention we had a 3rd panel that he discovered 2 hours later and he was very patient.
It ends up the panel I failed to mention and he discovered was the cause of the problem. He was able to make a temporary fix while waiting for the home warranty to approve.
After the home warranty approved for him to complete the repair he came back the next day and did a fine job.

Heater is now working perfectly Thanks to Nic.

In summary: very good service at a competitive price. Nic is knowledgeable and diligent, and AVAILABLE (he came to my place on a Sunday to accomodate my travel plans). Recommended with no reservations.

Details:
I called Nic to come install a high-amp plug for my garage, in anticipation of getting a Tesla Model S.
Nic was available later that day to give me an estimate range, which was a better deal than the other two electricians I had spoken to. We agreed to get the job done the next day.
He arrived on time, did it, and charged me right in the middle of the range (not top end).

I had another need and two days later, he came to install a candelabra. It was a Sunday. Overall, excellent experience with Nic.

Nic is very knowledgeable, honest, straightforward and customer service oriented. He arrived on time and was extremely courteous and professional. My home warranty service referred Nic to me and my original work order was for a light fixture. I also had a non-working bathroom fan and asked if he could work on that as well. He contacted the home warranty service for me and got them to add the bathroom fan to the work order and he even fixed several additional light fixtures for me at no additional charge.

I would definitely call Nic again if I have future needs and would highly recommend him to anyone searching for a good electrician.
