Minh is a straight shooter and if you do your own research based on his recommendations you'll find his advice are solid. He installed my Charepoint EV charger using 60a circuit hardwired for 48a charging. In and out in about an hour and cleaned up the drill dusts. No problem recommending him!

Electric:
I changed and relocate my 50-year old electric panel. I have, in my panel, circuit breakers for the general household appliances, including high amperage breakers for hot tub and stove top.

Minh was awesome in every respect! I give him all 5 stars! He requested pictures of the panel, the main panel, and provided me a quote. He arrived in the morning on-time, and also finished the work exactly when he had said he would. He detected some out-of-code connections and fixed those as well. Everything was cleaned up well at the end, and the new panel looks beautiful.

I feel like the work was worth every penny I paid. Minh is very knowledgeable and provides great consultation.

Minh and his colleague were great. They installed a ceiling fan and a large hanging light, along with switches. They also replaced a bottle junction box as well. Did great work and kept everything clean a well. Price was competitive as well, about $1000 for all three items.

I cannot recommend Minh at Simply Electric enough; he is transparent on all fronts and an expert in his craft. You'll get quality work done at a reasonable cost, with no surprises.

The first time I met Minh, it was for our condo and we didn't actually get any work done. Out of the other 3 vendors we were evaluating and getting competitive quotes from, he was the only one to bring to our attention some serious challenges and considerations for what we wanted to do (replacing flush mount lighting for recessed), along with recommendations/cheaper alternatives. We ended up just replacing the style of the existing lighting and it saved us a ton of money. After that, we decided he was our guy for all things electrical should we need it in the future.

6 years later, we moved into a new home and were in need of recessed lighting (21 to be exact). He typically services the South Bay area, but made an exception to come out to tri-valley since the project was large enough. Minh sent us an estimate on the same day and gave us recommendations on which lights to purchase that were affordable and good quality. The project took two days and the attention to detail was impeccable (e.g. used laser lights to show us exactly where the lights would be placed, ensured the wires were organized/secured in the attic and not just left loose, gave us a deal on the light dimmers, and left not a single speck of debris from drilling!)

Scheduling the estimate and actual work were quick and easy. From start of our conversation to completion of installation, it took less than 3 weeks (and during the Xmas/NY holiday).
