Company Overview

I often identify appliance problems within the same day of the service call. I provide expert appliance repairs at a lower cost than traditional repair shops. As the sole Appliance Repair Technician in the region with a degree in Electronics Technology, along with training in aircraft instrumentation, HVACR, and water pump services, I handle repairs that others cannot. With more than ten years in the field, I’ve repaired thousands of appliances for a well-known local company, so I might have already fixed your appliances! I hold the necessary licenses and insurance.

Simple Solutions was started by me in October of 2015. I work closely with several prominent property management companies and am always looking for new opportunities. Not only do I quickly diagnose and repair appliances for them at a lower cost, but I also handle the disposal of old appliances and the installation of new ones when necessary. If a refrigerator is out of commission and needs time for repairs, I can supply a loaner fridge at my discretion. This is a genuine loaner—there’s no fee for using it. I have also implemented a square reader for those who prefer to pay by card. For clients who can’t afford to miss work for repairs, I offer early and late service for a nominal fee.

I grew up in the East Bay area. I took my first physics class as a sixth grader at Cal Berkeley through the Mentally Gifted Minors program. I graduated with a degree in Electronics Technology in 1983. In 1993, I moved to the Redding area. In 1994, I bought a modest house. In 1996, I met my future wife and sons. I worked my way through my Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC studies from 1996 to 1997. From 2005 to 2015, I worked as an Appliance Repair Technician for a prominent local appliance retailer.
