Company Overview

On the same day a service request comes in, I usually diagnose appliance failures. I offer skilled appliance repairs for less than typical brick-and-mortar repair companies. As the sole Appliance Repair Technician in the region with a degree in Electronics Technology, along with training in aircraft instrumentation, HVACR, and water pump services, I handle repairs that others cannot. With more than ten years in the field, I’ve repaired thousands of appliances for a well-known local company, so I might have already fixed your appliances! I hold the necessary licenses and insurance.

In October 2015, I established Simple Solutions. I maintain ongoing partnerships with several major property management firms and actively seek new ones. I quickly diagnose and repair their appliances for less, and when an appliance is beyond repair, I can remove the old unit and install a new one. I also offer loaner refrigerators at my discretion when a refrigerator cannot be repaired immediately. This is a real loaner—there’s no cost associated with its use. I now accept card payments through a square reader for customer convenience. I also offer early bird and late bird service for a small extra charge for those who can’t take time off work for repairs.

I grew up in the East Bay area. I took my first physics class as a sixth grader at Cal Berkeley through the Mentally Gifted Minors program. I graduated with a degree in Electronics Technology in 1983. In 1993, I moved to the Redding area. I purchased a modest home in 1994. I encountered my future wife and sons in 1996. From 1996 to 1997, I put myself through school for Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC. From 2005 to 2015, I worked as an Appliance Repair Technician for a prominent local appliance retailer.
