Company Overview

On the same day a service request comes in, I usually diagnose appliance failures. I offer skilled appliance repairs for less than typical brick-and-mortar repair companies. As the sole Appliance Repair Technician in the region with a degree in Electronics Technology, along with training in aircraft instrumentation, HVACR, and water pump services, I handle repairs that others cannot. With more than ten years in the field, I’ve repaired thousands of appliances for a well-known local company, so I might have already fixed your appliances! I hold the necessary licenses and insurance.

Simple Solutions was started by me in October of 2015. I have established lasting relationships with key property management companies and continue to pursue additional partnerships. I quickly diagnose and repair their appliances for less, and when an appliance is beyond repair, I can remove the old unit and install a new one. When a refrigerator is down and cannot be fixed right away, I provide loaner refrigerators at my discretion. This is a genuine loaner—there’s no fee for using it. For those who wish to pay with a card, I have introduced a square reader. I also offer early bird and late bird service for a small extra charge for those who can’t take time off work for repairs.

I grew up in the East Bay area. I took my first physics class as a sixth grader at Cal Berkeley through the Mentally Gifted Minors program. I graduated with a degree in Electronics Technology in 1983. I relocated to the Redding area in 1993. I purchased a modest home in 1994. I met my future wife and sons in 1996. I financed my education in Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC from 1996 to 1997. I was an Appliance Repair Technician at a well-known local appliance store from 2005 to 2015.
