I couldn't find an available electrician who had time to come to my house, so I turned to Yelp and called Shok Electric. Not only did they answer right away, they found me a slot within 24 hours. David just left my house and he was incredibly helpful. He's even looking for a new timer for my outdoor lights that will will be easier for me to maintain. Cannot recommend more highly.

Shok Electric couldn't have been more helpful. I called in the morning to schedule a quote for a ceiling light install, and they were able to set up an appointment for that afternoon, with David.When David arrived at my house to provide a quote, he couldn't have been more polite, professional, and courteous! I would not hesitate to recommend Shok. I had an intermittent power outage that ended up being a DWP issue. Because power was intermittent Shok had to make two trip to catch the problem when it actually occurred. Each time they came out within 24 hrs. I had called other electricians and the quickest response I could get from anyone else was a week. Since it ended up being a DWP issue they did not even charge me for the second visit. Overall great service and great follow up. Thank you!

We called Shok Electric after our power went out. They answered the call right away and scheduled someone to come out within a couple of hours. David was on time, professional and knowledgeable. He was able to troubleshoot and restore power. He installed and replaced breakers, balanced the electrical load , and labeled the panel for us, all in a timely manner.
