We were referred to Shok from a friend and have called them a few times for issues that have come up at our house. David and the team have always been extremely responsive, quick to visit to diagnose and resolve the issue, and even follow up after the service. Recently our circuit breaker kept tripping and we had a party we were hosting coming up. David looked at the issue the next day and was able to resolve the issue the day after that as well as upgrade circuits to increase the amps where he could to give us more cushion to avoid the issue in the future. David even mapped out which outlets were on which circuit and suggested where to move our air fryer so we could rearrange appliances in the house. I appreciate that they are honest and professional with their interactions, extremely timely, and also very kind. They followed up before our party to confirm that everything was still working. Highly recommend!

We moved into a 100+ year old house that needed a lot of electrical work. Through the entire process David and Shok Electric were complete pro's. Their work is excellent, done quickly, and they've always been easy to communicate with.

They broke down to us very clearly all the work we'd need done, how much it would cost, which work we should get done first and which we could wait on, and they have always been good to their word.

We've had to work with a lot of different tradesmen on various parts of our house and Shok Electric was by far the best. Big recommend to them.

Edit- check out the *canned* response from the business owner. I was specific via a photo describing exactly what I needed. Quote was not ""ballpark"". Egregious overcharging for a simple service call? Do you want to give your business to this kind of a company?

Same day service - replaced broken smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector. Terrific business: easy to deal with, easy to pay (used Venmo), had the parts on the truck, and a fantastic attitude. I would use again in a second any time I needed electrical work. Highly recommend.

We had an issue with some of our older wiring and a circuit that went out. Unfortunately, our laundry room was out of commission.

Shok came out and inspected and we scheduled a repair. Told us they'd be there one day and ended up re-scheduling on us putting us out for a few more days. Due to the cancellation, they were nice enough to come out on a weekend and then say told us they would credit us... but not on the project they were working on, but a different project.

We scheduled the second project and they canceled again on us due to illness. So I decided to go with somebody else. Lost the ""credit"" that they were going to give us because we didn't do the second project with them.

I'm giving them 3 stars because they got the work done. Minus two stars for the lack of care for the customer and canceling two appointments.

On the expensive side, but they may or may not show up and get the work done.

I called Shok electric for an issue I was experiencing with flickering lights. David came out to help assess the issue and gave me helpful advice that seemed to resolve the issue. He was punctual, professional, and very helpful. I would definitely call again and refer this business to friends and family. Claudia, the receptionist, was also very friendly and professional. All around positive experience.
