I possess 35 years of experience in home improvement services, spanning electrical, plumbing, and detailed carpentry, mostly in vintage homes and apartments. I’m familiar with the issues found in vintage structures: ELECTRICAL ISSUES: knob and tube electrical wiring, absence of grounded circuits, and excessive circuits. PLUMBING: ancient supply pipes and 100-year-old faucets are no challenge. CARPENTRY ISSUES: crooked door frames, main door security hardware, defective door knobs and locks, windows that won’t open, etc.
