I possess 35 years of experience in home improvement services, covering electrical, plumbing tasks, and precision carpentry, mainly in vintage homes and apartments. I understand the problems found in historic structures: ELECTRICAL ISSUES: knob-and-tube electrical wiring, lack of grounded circuits, and overburdened circuits. PLUMBING: vintage supply pipes and century-old faucets are no challenge. CARPENTRY ISSUES: crooked door frames, front door security hardware, faulty door knobs and locks, windows that don’t function, etc.
