They never got things done on the first try and were the one that were after other heating and air Business would love to have a heating bill less than 800$ a month on a small house so please leave it up to the smaller companies that are a little more expensive but better

Installed new Heating/AC for us in January. Excellent, clean installation, everything works well. Top notch product, price and service. We had small problem that was 100% manufacture related, which was addressed quickly and completely. I am so glad we went with Sanborn's for our new install. They back their work up. If you are looking for a company you can trust to give you great service at an affordable cost this is the place to go. You can instantly tell customers are a priority, our first contact was with Pete, what a great experience, he instantly put us at ease and patiently walked us through the process of choosing the perfect system for our need and budget. He even offered us a portable system to help us out until our new system could be installed. To our delight they sent Jerrod out the next day to setup 2 portable units, what a great guy, he was friendly, knowledgeable and treated us like long time friends. If Pete and Jerrod are examples of who Sanborn's is then I just found my AC guys for life

I have had Sanborn service my systems for a few years. This time a different tech, Pete, did the work. For the first time I was told that my compressor and the blower fans were drawing too much power when starting and I needed hard start kits installed. The quote for the two was about $1000. Instead I got a kit installed for the compressor for less than $200 by another of Yelps highly rated providers. Pete will never work on my equipment again, though the quote was likely Sanborn's standard pricing.

We have been with Sanborn's on a monthly plan for over 18 months. Every time they have come by, they seem to want us to spend a lot of money on replacing something or the other. I installed filters at a huge cost and have spent a lot of money on what they told me.

A couple weeks ago, our system went down and Pete came over to our home. He saw that a fuse went out. He replaced the fuse and then told us that the entire condenser, furnace, coils etc need to be replaced ASAP. He told us that the entire system would go down again if not replaced. The total estimate was for $7500.

We were under pressure and worried because of the ongoing heat wave and signed up because the system did go down as he had said.

We were fortunate to not get started and one of our friends recommended a real engineer friend of theirs to come and take a look at our system. He ran a total complete check across every aspect of the system and found a faulty $40 capacitor that needed to be changed. It turns out that the faulty capacitor had tripped the electricity which caused the system to go down. He showed me everything in each part of the system. Changed the capacitor and the system runs absolutely well.

I feel thoroughly cheated. I have now been told that if Pete shows up to your home, then you will end up giving up a lot of money on changing systems that don't even need to be changed.

Because most people don't know enough, they are able to convince them to shell out a lot of money.

I am sorry but you have lost a reliable client of yours. We will be closing our monthly subscription to your service.

I would not recommend Sanborn's to anyone that I know at this point. This isn't just an emotional reaction, there is actually a rational validation that I know for sure now.

I must admit, Sanborn's is a great company with knowledgeable employees. My HVAC unit failed and it was VERY cold in my home.
Admittedly, I am a tough customer and quite demanding. Pete Mateo was patient and accommodating with me. Pete offered suggestions and met with my stringent demands. Pete brought two portable heaters to my home while we waited-out the rain in order to begin the work. Pete texted pictures to me while they were on the roof replacing my HVAC unit. AWESOME!
Based upon my research and Pete's input, I believe I received a new unit at a fair, and possibly more than fair, price.
My dog and I have heat and AC now! Thanks Pete and of course, Sanborn's!!

Sanborn's is great, they have serviced my business in Redlands and were fast, honest, affordable and friendly. When my AC unit went out during the summer of 2018, they understood that I was a business and could not have clients/staff uncomfortable during our business hours. Not only were they able to take care of this issue the same day, they were honest and helped me save money by foregoing needless repairs. No other AC/Heating company in the IE can compete.
