My family has been installing home comfort systems in this region since the late 1950s. Our mission remains to deliver a system that ensures your comfort while keeping costs manageable. No matter the size of the project, we strive to deliver exceptional service each time we visit your home. Homeowners today seek professionals who treat their space with respect, explain system issues, and suggest solutions. The idea that customer service is obsolete is false; I want our clients to experience the same level of care I seek in a quality restaurant or hotel. You deserve exceptional service from us, and we strive to deliver that every day; please share your feedback so we can keep improving and fulfilling our promise to you.
I started at sixteen, sweeping floors and going on jobs with my father in the days when that was allowed. I recall working on the roof of an Edison site in Corona at just ten years old, which was about 40 years ago; back then, fewer rules made it possible. Now, the landscape has changed significantly; we have guidelines for almost all aspects of our work.
I spent many years doing installations in both commercial and residential settings before transitioning to service work, where I focused on larger refrigerated plants, including wineries and packing houses. Today, I focus on discovering the best products and service practices to improve what we deliver to you, our valued clients.

The experience from start to finish is the best. Their salesman was on point and wasn't hit with any unexpected charges. Did a very thorough job at explaining everything from start to finish. To top it off the workmanship was exactly what the salesman stated. Work done on budget on time hassle free. I will continue using and referring Sanborns Heating & Air.

Had an excellent experience with Sanborn. I had an urgent matter that needed to be attended to immediately after regular business hours. I called and they had a technician out to the house within an hour on a Saturday evening. The technician fixed the issue and got it back up and running in no time. The issue happened at my vacation rental home and could have hurt my business had this not been addressed timely. The guest was very happy that the issue was address and solved quickly. I am a happy customer and will be returning with more business.

Great service if the guy knew what he was talking about he wanted to charge me 8-10 thousand for a whole new system when all I needed was a 500.00 Part

Terrible service/business model...they tried to charge me $685 to replace a heater furnace motor. When I ask the service tech how long it will take to replace the motor, he said about 30minutes. Which lead to me asking how much I was paying in labor, he wouldn't tell me. He said his boss has surveyed the area and their prices are competitive with everyone in the area. He followed up by saying the pricing is based on running a business and all the costs associated with it. I paid the service charge ($69) and asked him to leave. What kind of business refuses to provide an itemized quote (cost of labor and parts).
I called the office the next day and they supported the technicians response by saying they don't itemize there repairs. And, this has never been an issue in the past.
Alert....Mr. Sanborn, consumers aren't stupid.
Update:
I had HUDCO come out the following week and they fixed my heater for $80. My filter was dirty and the control board wouldn't allow the fan motor to turn on. I had them replace the filter and heater is working great.
Very dishonest, never again.

Sandborn's is great. These are the guys I trust to work on my HVAC and don't feel like they are going to rip me off or find problems that don't really exist. I had one of there techs at my house last week for an inspection and he gave me a host of good advice and tips to save me money and ensure I did not try to fix unseeded items. Highly recommend Sandborn's.

I have been using another company, but they were actually quite pricey including the 2 maintenance visits per year, so I dropped them. Of course as soon as I drop them, my AC unit goes out! I try to hold out on getting the unit fixed but the 100+ degrees heat and complaining kids will always win out!
Instead of going back to the old company, I decided to try Sanborn and fill out their online appt request form. By 8am the next morning, they were calling me to set up an appointment. They couldn't come out until after 6pm (which had an after hours charge of $99, which was fine by me because it was just too hot even at night), but when they had pockets of openings because their technician finished early, they called to see if I was available for an earlier spot. I was able to take an earlier spot, and Pete was the best technician ever! He put on bootie slippers over his boots to make sure that my floor does not get dirty, though I have kids and dogs who make bigger messes than anyone I know. He finished under an hour and I signed up for the 2x a year maintenance plan (it's a very cost effective plan which includes discounts). I highly recommend Sanborg to anyone who is tired of paying ridiculous amount of money to get their AC/Heating unit fixed. Thank you Sanborn!

WHAT AN AWESOME TEAM, WOW!
Nate supervised Adam and Chad in the install of our new heating and ac system! Nate has a remarkable work ethic and good supervisory skills. Adam is willing to go the extra mile (literally)! Chad has a great attitude and follows directions to the T! It's obvious that Pete has been in the industry many years and knows how to diagnose problems. Geoff Sanborn, the owner of the company is a hard working, incredible human being! What an inspiration!
My wife, mother in-law and I, all give Sanborn's Air Conditioning & Heating 5 Stars and wish we could give 6!

I have a yearly contract with Sanborn's A/C & Heating and it saves me money AND ensures that I don't have to even think about my A/C and heating. Twice a year, they contact me and set up an appointment. I believe servicing these units regularly ensure I won't have a major repair issue down the road.
I highly recommend Sanborn's. They truly exemplify what fantastic service looks like. Everyone from their office staff to their techs to the owner gives excellent service.

SanBorn Ac and Heating is a honest and reliable company. I am happy to say that the tech Paul was very professional and honest when he came to my home. He went through everything with me as I asked questions and I felt very confident in fixing my ac unit with as well as signing up for the club membership. Thank you to sanborn ac and heating. Very happy and will tell my friends about you.

I was referred to Sanborns by an employee of the City of Redlands (who has an older unit, although mine is newer I thought, it is probably more difficult to work on the older ones) so I was sure I would get great service. My air conditioning stopped working out of the blue one day, which surprised me because my unit is about two years old, not installed by Sanborns. I called and they got me on the schedule rather quick, with a diagnostic of $69, which is about the average I was getting. The technician showed up, I will not name because he was a sweetheart. He looked at the air conditioner for about 20 minutes and told me it was low on refrigerant. He explained to me that it probably was not put to the right level when it was installed. I paid the $357 for him to get it running and I added their club membership, irritating because it is new, but not as bad as I had thought price wise. My air was working wonderful for about a day, then I noticed it was not getting as cool in the house as it should. I investigated (made sure kids didn't leave windows/doors open..etc...). It was a bit warm that day so I thought I would leave it on for the night and see if it changed. The next day same thing, so I called Sanborns back out. This time they said, ""We are going to send out our senior technician"". The man arrived and looked at the air for about an hour told me it was over charged (uh, I thought it was under charged) and that I had a bad motor. He quoted me something like $1500 dollars because it was a special motor! I decided to pass and call around. I ended up going with another company in Redlands that has been around for a while. He came out told me it was over charged and had a bad ""run cap"". Overall I feel sanborns has nice technicians but they are way under experienced. It took two visits to come to a conclusion THAT WAS WRONG. I have since cancelled my ""club membership with them"", which they told me I had to pay them back for the discounts I received for the WRONG DIAGNOSIS on the first visit. It's been about a month since and my air is working great! Needless to say I found a great EXPERIENCED company in Redlands I can TRUST...and it's not Sanborns.
