Safe-Way Electric was founded to offer homeowners and business owners like you reliable same-day and emergency electrical services. Over the past 18 years, we have served over 38,000 customers and maintained an A+ rating with the BBB. We exclusively hire California State Certified Electricians who pass the criminal background check conducted by the Contractor State License Board. The owners of Safe-Way Electric & Solar Co. are Glenn and Anita. Anita entered the workforce in 1976, taking on numerous office duties. Glenn worked as a union licensed Steam Engineer and Electrician from 1978 to 1995. He underwent years of training to earn his steam engineer license and has completed 63 units focused on electricity. In 1995, Glenn chose to focus his career on electrical work. He took a position with an electrical service company, handling residential service jobs. Glenn quickly excelled in his role at the company. In 2000, Glenn and Anita chose to leave a partnership in an electrical service company they started in 1998 and launch their own electrical service business, specializing in residential and commercial services. We feel grateful for our amazing employees and dedicated customers.

Bruce B.What a costly mistake! I will never use Safe-Way Electric again. They charged us $861 for about an hour of work to replace the main circuit breaker and strip one wire to reinstall it.
I expected a reasonable hourly charge plus parts. I was shocked at their extremely high quote but we were desperate that night because we had no power in our house. So we paid.
I learned my lesson. Make sure you get at least one other quote from a reputable company before you pay the very expensive prices Safe-Way Electric charges.

He must have me confused with another customer, as I only spoke to the receptionist who answered the phone and that conversation lasted 40 seconds, not 40 minutes. I trust that the owner has simply made an honest mistake in his response to my review.
