What a costly mistake! I will never use Safe-Way Electric again. They charged us $861 for about an hour of work to replace the main circuit breaker and strip one wire to reinstall it.

I expected a reasonable hourly charge plus parts. I was shocked at their extremely high quote but we were desperate that night because we had no power in our house. So we paid.

I learned my lesson. Make sure you get at least one other quote from a reputable company before you pay the very expensive prices Safe-Way Electric charges.

I read with interest the owners comments to my review. He must have me confused with another customer, as I only spoke to the receptionist who answered the phone and that conversation lasted 40 seconds, not 40 minutes. I trust that the owner has simply made an honest mistake in his response to my review.

Craig was wonderful. Came within an hour after I called to diagnose our electrical issue. Since the problem involved a pool pump and he couldn't help, he didn't charge the normal fee. Truly appreciate his kindness and will definitely recommend them for any future electrical needs!

Feeling really frustrated with this company right now. I was having trouble with my under cabinet lighting. The electrician came out, checked things and told me it was just the light bulbs that needed to replaced. We had bulbs for one side and he put them in for us. I went to get bulbs for the other side and they don't work. When I called back, I was told it would be another $175 (on top of the $90 service fee I'd already paid) to replace the light fixture and I would need to buy a new fixture for him to install. How do they know the fixture is defective when he just finished telling me it was fine? They didn't even offer to come back out and look at it again. So angry!
