Since childhood in Texas, Matt realized he had a knack for building things. Though he initially believed his path would lead him elsewhere, Matt ultimately returned to his first love: construction. He began his career as a handyman, armed with a tool belt, building cabinets and installing floors. Over the years, he progressed to kitchen and bathroom renovations, eventually tackling additions and custom homes.

Those initial years gave him the skills he now passes on to his clients. With the encouragement of his supportive wife, whose love has been vital to RSFM's success, Matt took a bold step and founded RSFM Inc.
