After another well known electrical company flaked on my in home consultation, I resorted to yelp to find another company, and I'm so glad i did! I have had two different employees (including the owner, Roy) come do work at my house and they're so courteous and professional. Extremely fair pricing. My new go-to electricians. Highly, highly recommend!

A bit late getting this review out, sorry. Had an issue with an outlet going dead in the kitchen and the above-stove microwave losing its display brightness. I sent a request to Royal Electricity Empire here on Yelp and got a response in about 30 minutes.
Roy came out and was very courteous and professional. He explained a couple of options on how to assess the problem and then got to work. Turns out a GFI outlet in another part of the kitchen had a melted wire and he replaced it. All said and done it was maybe an hour or so worth of work.
Having done some electrical work around the house with varying degrees of success, I can really appreciate someone who knows their stuff and I would highly recommend Royal Electricity Empire.

Roy from Royal Electricity really saved my behind today. I'm switching from a gas dryer to electric one and needed a new outlet. This was after discovering that I needed updated plumbing for the new washer and a dozen other delays. I finally had an electrician scheduled to update the outlet and when that fell through due to a scheduling miscommunication I was at my wits end and really pushing my inventory of clean laundry. So I set out on a frantic search for an electrician and its just dumb luck that Royal Electricity was able to come to my rescue. They did an outstanding job for a fair price and went above and beyond by updating the power cord for the new dryer too. I am relieved and very grateful.

These folks came out on short notice when another electrician repeatedly didn't show up after confirming. They did a good job in a reasonable amount of time for a fair price. Hard to find people like that these days in Sonoma County. Will call them again.

He was able to offer me a quote nearly half the price of other electricians because he did such a thorough estimate and found that I already had a circuit in place. Roy, and Royal Electric, are fantastic!! We had just purchased a home near Guerneville. The prior owners had done quite a few ""modifications"" to the electric system, and we were concerned about how things were going to work out.

I called Roy, and he agreed to come out the next day. He understood there was no specific issue, we just needed an electrician to look at the house and help us figure out what, if anything, we needed to do.

The first thing is that Roy is just so chill. None of that ""uh oh, this looks really bad and I am going to have to do all these things to get it right. Not Roy. He spent some time looking around, checking out what's connected where, looking at the main box, just gathering information.

After doing all that, he and I sit down and have a pleasant conversation about how the system is set up, what is unusual and what is a likely problem. He does not try to sell me on a darn thing! Indeed, he encourages me to wait a bit and see how things work out before making any real changes.

There were a few things that did need to be changed because they were dangerous and not up to code. Roy and his assistant took care of the problems for a very fair price.

I absolutely trust Royal electric. They are smart, honest, and really looking out for how to do the best for their customers.
