These folks came out on short notice when another electrician repeatedly didn't show up after confirming. They did a good job in a reasonable amount of time for a fair price. Hard to find people like that these days in Sonoma County. Will call them again.

Roy, and Royal Electric, are fantastic!! We had just purchased a home near Guerneville. The prior owners had done quite a few ""modifications"" to the electric system, and we were concerned about how things were going to work out.

I called Roy, and he agreed to come out the next day. He understood there was no specific issue, we just needed an electrician to look at the house and help us figure out what, if anything, we needed to do.

The first thing is that Roy is just so chill. None of that ""uh oh, this looks really bad and I am going to have to do all these things to get it right. Not Roy. He spent some time looking around, checking out what's connected where, looking at the main box, just gathering information.

After doing all that, he and I sit down and have a pleasant conversation about how the system is set up, what is unusual and what is a likely problem. He does not try to sell me on a darn thing! Indeed, he encourages me to wait a bit and see how things work out before making any real changes.

There were a few things that did need to be changed because they were dangerous and not up to code. Roy and his assistant took care of the problems for a very fair price.

I absolutely trust Royal electric. They are smart, honest, and really looking out for how to do the best for their customers.

He went out of his way to get the proper equipment for my old Electrical box and also came after 5 pm ( way past quitting time I'm sure) and repaired my problem...IN THE POURING RAIN NO LESS ! I needed to install canned lights through my house, fan, chandelier, other lighting and bathroom fans, dimmers, TV wires installed into the walls, timing lights for outdoors, garage lighting, etc. Roy came to quote and did it very fast and was very professional in reviewing my home for a quote. After that he listened to what i wanted in picking out light fixtures and took me to a light fixture seller so that i had options that i wanted. Roy and his team worked very hard to replace old fixtures and install new fixtures in my home. His team was very kind and polite and just worked to get the job done.
