Domestic: New setups, upgrades. Energy, illumination, telecommunication, smart home systems, backup generators, pump/well control.
Business: Electrical power, illumination, power conditioning, communication.
Manufacturing: Motor setup and operation; process deployment as well as operation; light fixtures.

Relocated away from the East Bay into this beautiful region in the year 1979. Dedicated to serving Northern California, from the East Bay to Mendocino, since then. Consistently a boutique business delivering personalized service.
I am a California Native. The first memory I have from when I was two involves electricity (sticking a hairpin in an outlet). That ignited my passion. Immediately after finishing college from my degree at UC Berkeley, I launched my own electrical company, and have continued ever since. Together with my wife Kate, we raised four fantastic children in Sonoma County. Now we have chickens in our backyard.

Two Cent S.Ken was referred to me by a friend in the trades, and I am so grateful! He has been working diligently to do several upgrades on my house including replacing the main circuit breaker box/circuit breakers, outlets, light fixtures, and light switches. In the process he has also been finding and correcting some very questionable wiring. Ken's attention to detail is ultimately making my home a much safer environment, and I feel incredibly lucky to know he won't let anything slip through the cracks. Knowing that he will take the extra time to make sure the job is done right is reassuring beyond belief. Ken is also more than willing to explain what is going on which is very comforting and helpful. His attention to detail is impressive and I really can't say enough good things about him.
Doug S.Ken is smart, efficient, neat, and on-time. He isn't the electrician that you'd want if you were wiring 25 houses in a development and wanted him to come in $200 less than the next guy. He IS the guy you would want on a custom home or remodel when you wanted everything to be done absolutely right and the job site presentable at the end of the day. If I had an inspector coming in 3 hours and an issue to be fixed, there is no one I'd rather have working on the job than Risling.
He's the best electrician I know about and I had tried quite a few before I found him. I use him on all my remodels.
