Lennox HVAC reinstall 5/14/204. Google 2 Star review
Note my original 5 Star review immediately following. Also, this review in no way applies to the original installers (5 Star) and the team that came out to do the reinstall. They also were 5 Star.
I discovered after the original installation that the furnace was a cheaper model than what was on my order. It was swapped without advising me. I was told by the Rep it was swapped because the lower series was quieter. Fine, didn't they think I should make the final decision and give approval? In addition, the evaporator coil was an ADP copper coil unit. I discovered it was copper by doing an internet search on ADP. My work order specifically showed it was to be a Lennox coil. Lennox uses their unique Quantum Aluminum technology for their coils. This was a key reason for my choice of Lennox. The Lennox website specifically states the coil for my model A/C New Lennox HVAC installation is their Quanum Aluminum. In getting competitive bids, two vendors questioned what the coil was as the number didn't come up in any of their database searches. I questioned the Sales Rep . He said it was Lennox, just that he couldn't remember the model number. So the coil model was indicated as 410A (the refrigerant used) and 36 K ( for the tonnage.) Made sense to me so RighTime got my business. It was obvious the coil was a critical issue for me. It took a lot of texts regarding both the furnace and the coil to my Rep to get this corrected with installation of the models on my work order. Many of these texts were left unreplied. Towards the end he got increasingly cold in his responses. He said to stop reading the internet and that they were not going to rebuild my system for free. He also never followed thru on clarifying what service (i.e., semi-annual checkups) was included. As of now I have no documentation. ALL, other vendors include service after sale, the number of years varying by vendor. RighTime did get the install corrected with the work order specified models. Again, the installers were 5 Star, as were the original installers. I'm totally satisfied with the furnace and evaporator coil. The AC unit from the start has been great.
Would I use RighTime again for a future purchase? Only if they had the best deal and I carefully inspected the units prior to their installation. I also would not work through the Sales Rep I had on this order. What I went through was inexcusable. Am I going to have grief on RighTime's extended warrantee repairs should there be a problem in the future? I hope not.

Original Google 5 Star review on the Lennox HVAC install 4/18/2024.
Like my review below on the Nest Thermostat installation, I had superb service. Tyler M. and Abram V. as a team installed my new A/C, furnace, and air cleaner. They were thoroughly professional and very personable with great attention to detail. Any questions I had were answered. Utmost care was taken in my home and they left it immaculate. I have the utmost confidence in my new HVAC installation.
Similarly, Jerame my service/sales rep was great. He knew I was getting various quotes and assured me no one would beat the quote I got for the services included. He was right! He addressed any question or concern I had.

Well, here we go....
On May 3rd, using the information on Home Depot's website, we applied online for the suggested appointment for a free consultation before purchasing a home generator. Home Depot responded by email at 6:08 PM notifying us that the service provider would be ARS/RT, who contacted us by phone the next morning, informing us that they do not install generators.
O.K., time to start all over again with another email request on Home Depot's website on May 5th.
On May 6, ARS/RT called us again at 7:03 AM, with NO apology for calling so early, to make a same day appointment, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, with a 30-to-45-minute heads up call before their arrival. At 7:09 AM we received an email confirmation of the appointment from RightTime Home Services.
Great, we thought. After 3:00 PM and no one showing up or calling, we contacted RightTime and were assured that we would be their next stop today, with no estimate of arrival time.
At 7:30 PM we sat down for dinner with still no arrival or contact from ARS/RT or RightTime.
Well, RightTime Home Services Riverside, you have lived up to your reputation on Yelp reviews.

2-6 appointment scheduled . No show - no call - radio silence. I would say it's a given...but I won't be using them.

This business is terrible! Enrique came out to my elderly parents home to do an A/C service check. Tried to upsell them on all kinds of stuff they likely don't need. After Enrique left, later that evening I noticed that the heater was not working anymore, it had worked fine before Enrique did his 'service'. I called the office, which is advertised as '24 hours', and told them Enrique had done something to cause the heating not to work and I needed someone to come out and check. The woman told me that I'd get the first available technician, waited awhile and called back, this time another woman told me that they answer the phones 24 hours but no service techs or managers are available. Absolutely horrible service here. I'd take my business elsewhere.

After reading all these reviews I'm glad they cancelled. They are not coming in my house!

I had multiple issues with my AC system and they sent me one of their new technicians and he ""fixed"" my issue and proceeded to charge me. I had to call again due to it not working hours after he came, the next day Juan T came and did a beautiful job explaining to me what he had done and showed me proof of it, he was extremely kind and patient with me because I was upset with the prior technician. I was ready to leave a bad review but Juan T demonstrated that it just takes the right technician to get the job done! My AC is working at its best capacity although it's very old!

Domenick was super professional and personable. He offered multiple options that fit my budget and explained how everything works. Definitely go with this guys!

I wish I could give them less than zero stars. They broke our air conditioning, fell through our ceiling, broke our dishwasher and garbage disposal, cut a gas line to our stove, left a live wire exposed in our kitchen, and have not reimbursed us for anything they damaged! They also won't return our calls... Going to have to sue them

I don't understand why they need to call me so many times. Yes I have a package, yes I already made an appointment, so why do they keep calling to see if I want to schedule an earlier date or change my time. It's always someone different calling me too. It feels like spam, and for that reason I'll probably not be renewing my AC maintenance package with them. They called me over 20 times in a span of 8 months. It's so silly and annoying. Does the operator get commission or something?
