I was seeking and new install of HVAC system. Immediately when guylthe say plenty of room to install in attic..I tell him I dint want in attic.. show him closet i want to use.. says too small...Comes back with this laminated book and install in attic a bunch of work that will cost and additional 8000.00.... when get to model only 4 choce given.... and base model cost 16000.00.... omg......really..... 24000.00 for hvac system... say need 3 ton for a 1200sq foot home too... hmmmm.... gives a quote for like 300 for 12 years too.....lets do the math.. that is over 43000.00... I know there are many ac brands out there... there was no discussion... this was the cost for 1 of the 4 lennox systems...... Home Depot should get rid of this company...seriously.... 16000 for a basic unit installed... run.. run.. update... as I continue to get more estimates I will say this company is about UPSALE and doing thing only one way to get the most money.. In these hard times this is NOT a company you want to use.... Its really sad HOME DEPOT is using them as authorized company... They are getting enormous amount of leads from big company and dont value the customer or their needs..... shame shame.... DO NOT USE.... my best advice going through process so far... stay away from home depot and lowes authorized dealers.... home advisor is a good resource and then google them here on YELP as well.. what a difference in the reviews..
Katie B.Stay far away from this company. This company was sent out from Costco when we inquired for a new AC unit. Before the salesman came, the company called and stated that the decision maker had to be home for the appointment. In my mind, I thought that made sense as who wants to come out to a property twice. But keep reading. The salesman who came out was named Duke and he was so aggressive about having to sign a contract immediately and right then or I would loose the price he offered. His quote felt really high for a new AC unit. When I told him repeatedly that I am not going to make a decision today because his company was the first one to come out and it appeared to be a very expensive quote, he slammed his appointment book closed. He said, ""You'll be able to buy half priced donuts tomorrow"" and explained I can always get a job done cheaper by a particular race. Duke was never able to explain why I should pay more for his work. I would have been open to his explanation of great work, superior equipment and supplies, etc. He proceeded to tell me that other companies with lower pricing would get me sued for $50,000 later for not pulling a permit with the City. Who says I would not pull a permit and go to someone else just because of the power price? I just want time to research and think over the commitment. There were other things that happened during our initial consultation. I felt there was one threat or intimidation method after another. Overall, too aggressive and no compassion for someone who asked simply for some time to think about the price and commitment.
I had 2 working swamp coolers that was being replaced because they were old just bought a house so I'm remodeling and I live in the desert and they left me for a full month with no coolant system at all because they messed something up with the wiring and with my little child and family dying in a 100-degree Heat for $7,000 and the ones that they brought in the beginning they drilled holes into and started leaking from the bottom not worth it at all and I got my junction box for $7,000 and still waiting for the holes to be patched back up worst service I've ever had experience
Sal S.I had Rightime Home Services Riverside install Two Air Scrubbers in my home. The installer was very courteous and arrived on time!
The Installed Air Scrubbers made such a great difference in respect to minimizing the dust passing through to the house. Most importantly I'm sleeping much better with a better circulation of Air. I recommend this company for providing Honesty, fair pricing and superior customer service.
These people came out to our home installed a new hvac system. Removed Is Asbestos pipes and then never completed the Permit. Finalization they said we needed to call! But when we contacted the CSLB about this CSLB said who ever pulls the permit is required to complete it. As a home owner does not know when a project needs to be inspected. We aren't contractors. This is why we called them to do the work.
Please spare yourself a headache and call HERO!
Horrible service I schedule a appointment for camera installation(Ring Camera). They never showed up or gave me a heads up on why the canceled. They told me one of their technicians was on a emergency call blah blah blah. (I had to call them 30mins after my original appt to find out why nobody showed up). They say they will give me a discount towards my order. I didn't believe the story but I said okay. So they scheduled me in for the next day. So they sent this guy name Chris, who told me he doesn't do electrical work setting up cameras etc. He mainly work with plumbing. Smh so he was there to pretty much give a quote take pictures and call his manager for pricing. I'm a disabled veteran and I'm not able to do this simple job. He tried to quote me over $450.00 per camera installation. I couldn't believe it. Two of the cameras was a simple plug in the wall outlet and mount it. He told me yes that's gonna be over $450.00 to do. He Told me because their a big name company that's the reason they over charge the way they do. I told him that's some BS and you guys trying to get over on customers especially in my situation because I physical cant do it myself. I wont never recommend this company, poor customer service, communication, lack of training and very over priced.
Terrible company. Shady folks! Do your homework and contract your job to a different company, there are plenty of companies out there ready to stand behind their work and the product they sell.
Since year one of installation I have been having issues with the A/C unit. I have called them out for service numerous times and the answers seem to always be a new service or a new product I need to buy. Two times they have told me my thermostat is cheap and I need a better one, keep in mind the original thermostat is the one they sold me.
Now, another service call and they want to charge me $1200 to investigate if the current issues are due to a system leak, of course the fix is extra. My entire system is only 5 years old!!
The manager refuses to budge on the $1200 charge because I did not opted for their yearly service contract. Basically, it's my fault for not paying for additional service fees throughout the years.
This company has bad reviews throughout, and they are everywhere and they are there for a reason. Trust the reviews and go shop somewhere else! Trust your gut and call the competition. Save yourself years of headaches, do research and call the better companies out there.
Update - 5/6/2020
On their reply to my concerns, QA manager Becky provided two telephone numbers, her number and their
corporate number. QA Becky invited me to call and discuss my complaint with her directly, or perhaps discuss it with someone else if I so preferred. Well, after numerous attempts, I cannot get anyone to return my calls. Including the service manager of the technician that visited my home. The promises are plenty, ""we will call you by EOD tomorrow, promise!"" but they are all empty promises. No one cares, Their motto should be ""It's Never the Right Time to Call Us!""
It is clear to me now that bad customer service is inherently a part of this terrible organization. They are not interested in what comes next after their initial sale, they only care about the big sale and when and how hard they get to punch you in the gut!! Read their reviews and you will see the punch will come.
There are two reasons a QA manager does not return a call. One, they don't care and Two, she is too busy calling the many more dissatisfied customers they have. To anyone thinking of hiring them for service. Don't! Find a company interested in keeping you happy we'll after you stopped being a customer for them.
Customer satisfaction it's not based on how much you continue to pay. Customer satisfaction is not membership based, you shouldn't have to pay monthly fees to remain happy.
By the way! The ""we acknowledge we are a premium priced company"" statement is a poor excuse for bad and sleazy service. Responsible and profitable companies, large and small understand the value of every single customer, ""Never the Right Time"" seems to not have a clue about this notion. The value of a customer should not be based on the amount of money said customer continues to spend. Competition for costumers is at an all time high, there are thousands of listings for HVAC, save yourself a headache and call someone else.
I made a terrible decision and now I am paying for it. We are retired and on a fixed income and suffering through a heat wave with nowhere to go for relief! Everything is not only closed, but also a health risk, especially for retired folks. Don't follow in my footsteps, call someone else and be happy.
Just remember ""It's Never The Right Time to call Right Time"" and you'll be better for it.
L A.I'm very unhappy with the shady service, I called the office twice. I'm thinking on stopping payment on my check . It cost me $169.00 for them , Micheal the tech , to put 2 wire caps on my outlet . That I already had removed. He quotes me for a bigger job , but does none of what he said , and still charge the same price.. He was also on his phone talking to someone telling them he will be some soon . It was more of a personal call. Actually he had 2 calls . I posted invoices one of the promised job. and the cost .. and the other of the job done.
I asked him since he didn't do what he originally promised, would I be paying less? He looked me and said I fixed it. I looked at him , and asked I don't see a new outlet.. then the whole quote was changed . All of a sudden it couldn't be done..
I'm going to call 2 on your side or dateline. With Jim Hanson.. .
Angie C.During this time of the covid-19 virus, my kitchen sink decided to back up. I tried drano which did not help at all. So I called a couple of plumbers which were not very helpful. Then I called RighTime plumbing and they came out within an hours of my placing the call for service. Jeremy and Ryan were very kind.. they came through the side gate and were able to snake the line from outside. They managed to have the drain cleared in less than an hour. I was extreme grateful that they were able to service during this time. I would highly recommend this company.
Chelsea O.Absolute worst experience ever. DO NOT hire this company unless you want to waste time and money. Too many screw ups to even list. Dispatch is rude and uncoordinated. Over charged us and dragged us through the mud. They literally left an open sewage hole in our yard for three weeks and stopped responding to our calls. They claimed they needed their subcontractors to move forward, passed us off on them, and then that company said it was ""outside the scope of what they do""... Totally dropped the ball with our yard torn up. Thanks for nothing Righttime!
