Can I say enough good things about Richard Olinger and his business!!??? The list goes on and on. Every time I interact with Rick or his crew, I am just beyond satisfied and relieved to know that I am working with HONEST professionals who do top QUALITY work for a REASONABLE price. I can't believe I lucked out finding this business.

Here's my long story. I had to do an electrical rewire and panel upgrade for my small house (650 sq ft) this past winter. It was around the holidays and we were in a bit of a time crunch, so I passed over Olinger to go with someone else (business shall not be named) who seemed like they were ready to get the work done ASAP (Olinger was booked up for a while at that point--makes sense, since they do great work). Going with that other business was a MISTAKE. The other contractor charged almost twice as much more than Olinger did for his first estimate, and then it was one excuse after another for getting the rewire completed. The final straw came when the ""other guy"" demanded an extra $4k for the new panel (parts ONLY--not including the labor) because of ""supply chain issues"" even though we had the cost already laid out in our contract. I know some panels are hard to come by right now, but $4k for a 200amp service panel (just the part--not the labor, mind you) seemed suspicious to me. On top of all that, the ""other guy"" did sloppy work. It was a tough decision but I had to terminate that contract. This all happened about 2 weeks before we had to move--we were patching all the drywall holes ourselves. We needed help.

Que Olinger Electric, who came in and was immediately able to pick up the ""other guy's"" work where he left off and get it done QUICKLY! They were even able to give us temporary power in the house, which helped SO much with the remodel (being able to plug in our batteries for tools, etc.). The ""other guy"" had us running an extension cord from outside. It was like night and day. Olinger's team was able to squeeze us in their schedule last minute so that our electrical was ready for our move in. It was so refreshing to have a contractor that understood our tight deadline and came when they said they would. Olinger and the other leads electricians treat the helpers/apprentices with RESPECT (unlike the ""other guy"" who was downright abusive to his helper constantly). The crew was super friendly. The receptionist for Olinger was a great communicator. They didn't leave garbage all over our yard. Their prices were so reasonable! AND on top of all that, their work was excellent!!!

As long as they are in business, I will be working with them for my electrical needs and recommending them to friends and family. Thank you Olinger Electric!

Richard and team restored my faith in electricians. He did a $3k job for our house and we are very happy. Quick to provide quote, professional, efficient, and reasonable. Aesthetically it all looks great as well. We got 12 new canned lights installed, two dimmers, 2 GFCIS, 1 multi GFCI/ light switch, 4 flush-mount replacements, relocation of two wall lights and converted them into hanging pendants. They also re-wired a rats mess of old wires and replaced a breaker. Will definitely use them in the future!

We recently moved within Vista/Shadowridge and the house required a number of updates. Over the past several months, Rick and has staff installed a new service panel, LED lights to illuminate the interior of the garage, replaced a number of worn interior outlets and switches, added dimmers in strategic locations, installed two new bathroom exhaust fans and even provided lighting design advice to even out the lighting in our kitchen. Today they installed about 100' of coaxial for a cable box in our family room. In addition, Rick and has staff provide ""white glove service""--neat and tidy, drop cloths and booties, and very personable. If you want pros, you only need to make one call and that's to Richard Olinger Electric.

So glad I found Rick and his company. They came out SAME DAY. I was out of power on the coldest and rainiest day of the year. Rick made it out and fixed the problem AND did so at such a reasonable rate. Very professional and kept me updated on the job in real time. I will be using Rick to install my electric car charge station and he will also be upgraded a dedicated circuit on my breaker panel. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thank you Rick.
