Literally saved our lives! For two weeks i have been without power to my stove and garbage disposal, because the breaker they are on would trip the main and leave us in total darkness. I paid $325 to other electricians in Vallejo just to get an estimate/diagnostics for the actual repairs. He came over today to give me a free estimate and ultimately uncovered a dangerous short underneath the house that had already burned the wood around it. He repaired it for less than 25% of what others quoted!! He is amazing. You can tell he is a pro. He was the most honest and affordable of all the electricians i consulted. Interestingly enough he was also the most knowledgeable. He fixed the problem faster than the time other spent looking around.

Great guy. Great service. Honest item by item invoices. I called all of the other electricians in Vallejo and even paid someone else for a $250 quote. Craig's quote was free and he was more competitive then everyone else by far. Like any great service, he is likely booked 7 days out, but well worth the wait for the excellent work and price. Craig replaced my service mast, panel, and weather head. He even talked with pge and the city of Vallejo for permits and service on/off requests. I still haven't met Craig except for the phone calls and text messages. Great to know I have an Electritian that I can trust to help me out whenever I need work done on any of my properties.

A call to an electrician is one of the most stressful calls I ever have to make, because electrical problems can be expensive and dangerous. Too many electricians take advantage of their customers, and consequently we avoid doing business with any of them more than once.

Richard Craig, however, is the real deal. I Yelped him before contacting him. I was skeptical of all the 5-Star reviews. But I found him to be: prompt, professional, courteous, and a man of integrity.

My strong suggestion would be to call Ric first to save money and time.

When I phoned Richard, we were already desperate, having gone through four electricians (one of whom pushed us off weekly for seven weeks). Richard immediately returned my call, listened to our needs, and arranged to come by to take a look. We had an estimate and a start date in no time. Ric and Clayton arrived on time, did quality work, and left the area clean. Ric is thoughtful, not only of his work, but of your budget. There is no up-selling with Ric. He's a great troubleshooter and takes care to explain everything. If he thinks you don't need a service, he let's you know. If he thinks there's a better way to accomplish what you need (that's easier and less costly), he let's you know. He also looks for extras that he can add, things you may not have thought about.

His work is Quality.
He's thorough.
He's clean.
He's punctual.
He's reliable.
He's no nonsense.
He returns calls and texts.

He has great taste in music. (this is important).

Above all, Ric has a great personality. He's fun to work with, and has a terrific sense of humor.

Ric quickly feels like a trusted friend in addition to being a true craftsman. We will be using Richard Craig for all our future electrical needs.

Richard Craig and his assistant and son, Clayton, make an amazing team! I called him with a long list of electrical to do's and as we talked through the cut list, he explained how he would break down the scope of work into several sections. He solved the problems that existed and he dismissed a few that were all in my mind. I found him to be one of the most honest, candid and compassionately sensitive men that I know. He loves his work and cares about his clients. This team has integrity.. They know the importance of one being able to trust craftsmen who work in your home. Richard is not out to make the most he can rather, he is out to serve the needs of his clients. He gives great advice on what to buy or don't buy or what must be done and what can wait or not be done. He didn't just hand me a list of things to purchase, he accompanied me to the store and thus he made short order what for me alone would have been and incredibly arduous labor. He arrived at work promptly and cleans up after he's done. He compromised when he wanted one solution and I proposed an alternative one modified by our family preferences. Hence, he is accommodating. Most importantly, he knows how to say this is what I do well and you need someone else to do that part. I respect that. He saved me lots of money and felt that he earned a fair price for the excellent work they performed. He installed new outlets, trac lighting, under cabinet lighting, a new fan and security lights. He told me that my pre-existing electrical panel was top of the line, so no need to worry. I commend the man and his son for their diligence and because they also one day went beyond the call of duty to catch my wife's two dogs who had gotten out through the garage. In short, I admire Richard Craig and recommend him highly.

Rick and Luke did a great job at a good price, and did so in very timely manner. Rick looked at my problem, and came up with an excellent plan to correct the situation. He answered the phone (for starters), committed to a time and honored it, and did exactly what he had proposed (his son Luke is an electrician as well and worked with him). I couldn't be happier with the result.

I had a problem with a big breaker (100 amp) feeding a subpanel on a Sunday morning. I called up Richard, and he sent his son Luke over to take a look. Luke was able to diagnose the issue quickly and get me back working within an hour.

Both Richard and Luke gave me a couple of options to get this issue resolved. They were very upfront about costs and such. I will be calling them again when I need anything done at my house.

It is extremely difficult to find a trustworthy electrician. Not only is Richard extremely trustworthy his work is second to none. We are remodeling a kitchen from the studs up. He helped us with best placement for the canned lights, put in a new sub panel, rewired the entire room. The wiring is impeccably clean. No sloppy work here. When the inspector saw it he was visibly surprised at the quality wiring. He had never seen anything like it. It is so clean. He signed off right away without further ado because he knew his work is high quality. I am grateful he did our electrical and would recommend him for any job big or small.

Richard is totally awesome. I called him with a number of electrical issues with the house I just moved into. Richard came right out and got them all resolved in an hour. Turned out to be issues I would never have diagnosed or fixed myself. Friendly, helpful. Told me what he was doing and why. Price was extremely reasonable considering how much he accomplished.
