I purchased an a/c unit from reliable to replace the old one after purchasing my home. the a/c unit works periodically, it will not cool my home as advertised. One of my biggest concerns is that the a/c unit continuously runs all day long, My electrical costs have tripled, despite having a solar electric system. last month's electrical cost was $640 this month $710, mostly because of the continuous running of the air conditioning unit while not cooling. reliable Air and heat techs have been to my home 7 times in the last few months with no resolution as to why the a/c continuously runs with temps in the home of 2 to 5 degrees less than what it is outside. Upon the tech coming to my home, I did everything they suggested. I seal my attic fan vent. as they asked. the last service said the air conditioning cannot achieve my expectation of 69degress and requested it increase the set temperature to 72, which I did with no improvement. I have called the office several times with my concerns about the system. Today 8/20/2022, I reliable called again I was told Kevin Canuff had tried to contact me on 8/21/2022. I searched my phone record on the phone and online, i could find anything call from Kevin canuff at reliable yesterday to discuss how we can fix my system. although It is possible he called the wrong number but I don't think so with all that has been happening. Each time I ask to speak with someone in charge I get the runaround, they are either in a meeting or out of the office. On my last call to the service representative on 08/20/22, I told once again an email will be sent to the prospective manager to call me to discuss the issues has not happened after 4 representatives said they sent emails. I even asked to be transferred to Canuff voice main which was full and could not accept any more messages. I am not satisfied, I have not received what is advertised on your website your guarantee.

I scheduled a maintenance call for mid August, they called and offered an earlier appointment which was great (I thought). After confirming my appointment for Saturday they never showed or called. Not very impressed with their customer service.

Not happy, very disappointed with service. I had them come out to do a duct cleaning, was told ducts were fine it was a box were ducts connected that had mold. Was told he would be out a week later on Saturday to replace it, He never showed, called customer service was told parts team would reach out by Monday and call me, it is Tuesday no call, so I am very upset at their service.

Despite calling them ""numerous"" times and even getting a ""sorry we're running behind"" email.... They ""NEVER"" responded to our call. Seems as though having a ""service contract "" that we were LAST on the list to be taking care of!!! Can only surmise that we got pushed further and further down the list to only be bumped off?
My husband kept saying that they'd been bought out.... Seems he was right?
Now... they're anything But reliable ??

Brent came out and explained the new offerings they had, and the approach and units were exactly what I was looking for. You can think of it as air conditioning as a service. Maybe not for everyone, but exactly what I was looking for. They came out and installed the new units and hauled away the old ones in one day, and they have saved our summer here in sweltering Atlanta. The Daikin units are wonderful and my power bill is noticeably lower. I recommend Reliable Heating and Air when you need to replace your aging units and want to just let them take care of it.

We thought we had an HVAC leak, it turned out to be a leaking dishwasher. The HVAC repair guy from Reliable Heating and Air went to turn off the water to the dishwasher. When doing so he broke the pipe and had to turn off our water. That was July 23rd. He said a plumber would be out that night. No one came. They said a plumber would be out Sunday. No one came. It is Monday, they are saying a plumber will be out today but can't tell us when. We have two children and still no water due to a pipe this company broke. We spoken to at minimum 15 different people, none of which have been able to help because they apparently are just call service people and can't get a number to a technician. We are on the phone with someone right now who said she understands but someone will be out today but can't tell us when. I have never experienced something like this. I do not recommend for anyone.

Edited to Respond to comment from Lea Anne: unfortunately even the reply shows how completely unacceptable this company handles situations. I absolutely never canceled any appointments and had been calling every hour once Saturday to get an appointment. I can not express enough how much I strongly discourage anyone from using this company for fear you would experience even half of this nightmare that we are still going through.

We are brand new customers with Reliable for their ""Comfort As a Service Program"", we are going through the process of getting a mini split for our basement. The process has been smooth thus far, but I was very disturbed when it came time to discuss payment. It seems that they charge more to make a full payment of the unit versus signing up for their finance program. Which I find to be crazy! Then they try to justify this by stating that if you pay the unit off they will not service the unit for free even thought the parts and labor are under warranty. I would think that service would be included on the unit through the duration of the warranty at least for the parts. It seems that we are being financially taken advantage of and I wish we would have asked more questions initially around this part of the process. The company wants to run your credit, have you make monthly payments where they can charge an interest rate instead of taking full payment. If we could do it all again, we would and I highly doubt that we would have decided to go with Reliable.

Ten days in July in Georgia without air conditioning and Reliable could not care less. Their promise to us when we agreed to their monthly payment plan was that we would receive prompt, priority service when there was a problem. Not true at all! First technician left without even verifying that the temporary fix he claimed to have put in place would work. It did not. No communication at all until we called three days later to find out that the part was already there but they wouldn't come out for another two days, in July, to install it. On a Saturday when they knew the warehouse would be closed. You guessed it, that wasn't the only part needed and now they won't even say how many more DAYS it will be until they can be bothered to come back out. 10 days. Meanwhile my husband contracted covid and has had to stay in a tiny camper van in our driveway while sick because it's too hot to breathe in our home. They know all of this. Every person tells me they have ""emailed Kevin and the boss"" and I'll receive an emergency priority call. Not a word. If 10 days in July with a sick person living in the driveway isn't an emergency, I'm not sure what would be. Never ever again will we use Reliable and I will tell everyone I know how we have been treated.

They are a horrible company when something goes wrong. They DO NOT stand behind their work.
