I had such a great experience with them today. My technician was Armando Rosas who came out because I wanted my AC unit tuned up after receiving a $250 bill from Georgia Power. He took the time to show me where to change the filters and it was disgusting how dirty mine was. I got everything done I needed and now I hope to see that reflected in my on going energy bills!!!! I have a contract with them so they will come out twice a year and check my AC and my furnace and I feel really good about that.

This was the second time they've come out. I called at 2pm today, and someone arrived at 4:30. Can't ask for better. Prices seem fair. Service is professional. I'll use them again.

Worst air conditioning company in Georgia. No one in this company knows what to do and no one cares. The office is a joke, they can't even get a worker to your house with a part that was ordered. They sent one truck out with the part and another truck out with a technician to install it. We waited days in the worst heat all year to get our unit working. We are senior citizens with health issues and were given the run around. No one ever apologized for not helping us. We were only told the part would take days to receive and then we had to set up another appointment for installation. We even offered to pay for overnight shipping to no avail. When we asked to speak to someone else the receptionist said there was no one else and we would have to deal with her.

Reliable Heating and Air is a great local (GA) company that does more than just heating and air! I was pleasantly surprised to see that they can also help with plumbing, electrical and duct work! Don't call on a national company that you don't get the personal touch - go with someone who cares about his customers!

Reliable Heating & Air has not provided great service. Around 4.27.16 a technician came to my house and diagnosed my non-working air conditioning system as a leak. I quote ""9 out of 10 times it's at the evaporator"" which due to the age of the house would need a new compressor unit. The house was built in 1999 (Lennox unit). So I went ahead and purchased the Trane XR14 ($3464.05). A day or so later they installed the Trane unit. On my way home my wife called says there is a leak still. (Appears I did not have a leak at the evaporator.)

The leak was in the copper A/C line. Months prior I windows installed by Ben Hill Renovations headquartered in Douglasville, Ga. their installers nailed through the copper a/c line when putting the siding back up. I paid Reliable Heating & Air $500 additional dollars to repair the a/c lines. I was reimbursed the $500 from Ben Hill. The next day Reliable Heating & Air technicians showed up and repaired the a/c line. He also ended up cutting into one my cabinets in the kitchen. Around 5.18.16 my a/c started blowing hot again. A different technician came inspected and said there is a leak near where they previously did the repair. I believe they had done some type of soldering. I called and they said I needed to have a new line set installed for $400 dollars.

A few days later I paid $400 and they put the new line set in. About a month later in June a/c started blowing hot again. Technician came out told my wife he changed the furnace filter and changed some specs on the unit. Here we are in July 26, 2016 blowing hot again we thermostat is displaying 80 degrees in here. My wife called to schedule a technician out. The customer service representative says the last technician came out and added more Freon. That's not what the technician told my wife. So another technician came out on 7.25.16 and said the compressor is overheating. All he could do was spray water on it to cool it down. He then called in a warranty tech to come out on 7.27.16. No one showed up on 7.27.16 the customer service representative said the request was cancelled in error. I'm not sure when my a/c will be repaired.

Well this was my experience. I was out of town and the AC stopped working. Called for service on Monday at 8am. Earliest opening was Wed. Which was to be expected in the summer heat. The tech cam out at 3:00pm and found the relay on the air handler control board had melted. They said they did not have the part and would contact us about the replacement. The BIG question I had was why that had failed as it was a big fire hazard. He told us that there is no telling and maybe from ""heat"".

Well I had just gotten back into town from work and swung my FOX appliance which is local and picked up a replacement board for $35. When I got to the house and inspected the unit I immediately found the problem. The ground wire from the motor relay that melted was loose and fell out of a power distribution block it was connected too. That very loose connection was causing high current in that circuit and almost certainly caused the relay to fail. Installing a new board and not fixing this problem would have resulted in the same thing happening. I was disappointed the tech did not investigate the cause and not just say there was no telling why the part failed.

After fixing the loose connection in the power distribution block it took me about 30 min to change the control board. The issue was all fixed up for $35 and 30-45 min of my time.

The original service call was $89 which was completely reasonable. Now the kicker was Friday afternoon at 1pm they finally called back and said they could replace the part the following Monday for $350.... I would not call that timely service in the summer heat.

A small bit of background on myself. I am a licensed aircraft mechanic and avionics tech. When an electrical part fails and is a fire hazard it is not good to just replace that part without finding the cause of the failure. Now maybe they would have fixed he issue, but the reply we got was that there ""was no telling why it failed"". My quick inspection and check with a bolt ohm meter showed me the problem in a few minutes.

I don't mind paying for repairs but I want it done right and timely.

if i could give them no stars at this point i would....we hired them to replace our hvac system 10 months ago. everything with our new trane was perfect until summer hit. we discovered our system was improperly wired areas were not sealed correctly and caused over 12k of damage to our home when the system leaked and the sensors in the pan failed. this was 2 months ago....they will now be coming out tomorrow for the 6th time in 2 months to fix the system when this time the pipe was not connected properly to our system when yet again water leaked from the system less tham half of inch from leaking again in our attic that was just repaired!! we have had fuses blown on the unit and replaced 3 times they dont know why its happening etc. very poor workmanship...as for them coming to service sometimes i have to wait a day but to me....we sld be on a priority im sick of hearing sorry we have no techs in ur area....bull crap again customer service.....than, they promised us our 1k deductible back for all the damage yet still nothing from them after 2 months and get this....they tell me to call their insurance company myself to find out the status of them releasimg 1k funds to me??? seriously??? hello its ur insurance company and ever hear of customer service...just write me the 1k check already wtf!!! i have a report with BBB and hope to get this resolved otherwise im going to talk to trane, get a service contract transferred and possibly get an attorney.

They installed a new heating unit in the basement. They did not put the unit in a drip pan. this is standard practice and the unit next to this one already had one so it wouldn't take much to realize that this should be done. After having them out to reassess i never heard back. Now there is a leak and no drip pan which is ruining the flooring in the basement. I called them again and they want $300 to add a drip pan to the unit / fix the installation they cut corners on. Seems like a minor deal that they would want to fix to keep a customer happy.

I would not use them again.

Yes, 5 stars. Fernando, Shaw, Chad and Ben installed 3 new furnaces and A/C units at my home. It was all done in one day. They cleaned up after the job was done, explained everything and, best of all - the systems works as it should.

We recently had an HVAC installation and insulation put in our home to combat the summer heat. Our technicians for both services were exceptional. They were punctual, knowledgeable and just great gentlemen. Ryan and Gary did our HVAC install and came on time and finished in a timely manner despite having to work in the heat both inside and outside of the house. They explained how to use the new touchscreen and even followed up after the installation to make sure that the system was working as expected. Dustin and Owen came the following week to put in new installation in our attic and they climbed into the hot attic and put in the insulation in short order, cleaned up after themselves and even spared a few minutes to issue a pleasant 'Hello"" along the way. My husband and I were very pleased that we chose Reliable after looking at other companies because their technical staff are not only experts in their trade but great people as well. Thank you for helping us to beat this summer heat because Mama is now a happy camper and as they say 'If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy'
