Tom from Pure Air came to look at our furnace as it wasn't heating. After checking it out, he decided the gas valve was faulty. However, after a few well positioned knocks, he managed to dislodge whatever was blocking it and the furnace is working again. Had he chosen just to replace the gas valve, it would have cost about $500.

We called Pure Air on 12/29/15, very late In the afternoon after our heater quit working and during a nasty cold spell. Tom and his assistant came out, diagnosed the issue and said they would return on 12/31/15 . They showed up and were up on the roof working to get it fixed at 9 a.m. on the 31st. Turned out we needed an additional part, which was not available locally, and they said they would have to return to complete the job on Monday. Tom personally drove to L.A. on Monday to pick up the part and was back in our office by 3 p.m. to replace (2) boards, change the filter and replace the thermostat. Tom and his staff were professional, worked long hours to diagnose and resolve the issue and Tom even took the time to call us the following day to make sure that we were satisfied with his service. His bill was very reasonable and I highly recommend Pure Air.

Tom at Pure air was able to come to my home late in the evening to accommodate my schedule. He was able to fix my heating unit for significantly less than what others had quoted me. I received three quotes for the part i needed along with the labor. One quote was $1,500, another was $750 and Tom was the lowest at $595. I felt his price was more than fair particularly considering he was willing to start the job at 7:00 pm for me.

I highly recommend Tom and Pure Air as a well priced and great service provider for Heating and Air Conditioning needs.

We just had to take the time to write this review for Tom Nguyen and his crew at Pure Air because they have simply been fantastic. Actually this was the second time that we have used their services. Tom gave us a great deal the first time we had to redo our duct work. They were fast, efficient and delivered great work. When we had issues recently with the heating system not working, we didn't hesitate to call Tom again. He gave us a great deal again and completed the job under the time he estimated. It has been a pleasure to work with Tom because he explains everything thoroughly, the prices are fair and best of all the work is well done. We highly recommend Tom and Pure Air and we won't hesitate to call him again in the future. Thank you Tom.

I yelped for a local AC repair and hired Tom based on the good reviews that's he has been getting.

I have to reaffirm that Mr. Tom is great!! I called his number yesterday to schedule an appointment for today. I had issues with my old furnace unit with pipes leaking water. He fixed them right away with very competitive pricing (i surveyed 5 other local AC repair for a quote and chose him, you know why). He didn't over sell and actually recommended to keep things the way they are as long as they work okay. He explained how the unit works mechanically etc. (Yes he has a mechanical engineer degree and patiently explained what the air ""U Trap"" concept to me). He not only knows the mechanics but also the engineering behind it which I appreciate a whole lot!

He also provided pointers on how to maintain the unit myself to save some bucks!!! (change filter, clean the area, seal a cover for AC piping in my patio - stuff that I can get from home depot).

I will definitely call him up again if I have any issues relate to my heating and cooling unit in the future. Tom is a straight shooter that went above and beyond to take care of his customer!

My condenser went out at my own home. As a general contractor, I always check out the contractors I work with. I called Pure Air and was pleasantly surprised when Tom answered the phone. He came out within a couple of hours to take a look at the problem. His diagnosis was the the unit needed to be replaced and he gave me a great deal. It was a lot less than other contractors. Because I also have a couple of rooms that did not cool well, he recommended a different system. Although, I was hesitant to spend the extra money, Tom convinced me that the new system would be a lot better. I agreed to have the better system and boy am I glad I did!!! All the rooms in my house are finally cool. Thanks Tom, You and guys did a great job!!!
