I am so pleased with the professionalism of Preston-Link. I called them to fix what another electrician messed up: the installation and wiring of a standby generator. They straightened out the miswired elements and took good care to get it done right. It took that other guy MONTHS to mess up the job. James and his assistant at Preston-Link straightened it out in a few hours. I will use Preston-Link for all my household and rental property electrical needs.

The best electrical service in Gainesville! We've used them twice, and both times the service was BEYOND prompt, as well as being top-quality work at a price that was very fair. We had a problem with a circuit breaker in our master bath. Matt from Preston Link came out and determined that the problem was actually with our instant-hot, tankless water heater. Since he didn't replace or repair anything, HE WOULDN'T TAKE ANY MONEY from us! He referred us to a great plumber, and we ended up replacing our water heater. Preston Link came out to do some necessary electrical work in conjunction with the installation, and did a fine job, done TO CODE.

Preston Link sent two guys out on each job they did at our home, and everyone we encountered was extremely nice and courteous. I can't say enough good things about this company - I wouldn't call anyone else, and neither should you.

Needed a double-tapped breaker fixed prior to selling my house, and these guys made it as simple as possible.

They worked on my schedule (which was convenient, because I didn't have to miss any work); they gave me a quick and accurate quote; they were on time, extremely courteous, and finished the job very quickly (in and out in less than 30 minutes!).

After reading reviews on Yelp I called Preston Link Electric to get a quote for wiring and installing ceiling fans in my home. After 3 bids they were by far the least expensive.

They scheduled my appointment quickly, showed up on time, were courteous and professional. The fans look and work great.

I would recommend and use them again if I have electrical needs in the future.

AWESOME. They are just awesome. I was nervous about calling an electrician because of the cost, but I bit the bullet and called Preston-Link based on the yelp reviews; I wasn't disappointed. Two guys came out (one was training) and they spent fours hours figuring out how the wiring in my home worked, and then how to fix the problem. Half way through they checked in with me to make sure that I was okay with proceeding (because the bill was racking up). They worked hard the entire time. The bill at the end of the day? $407; worth every penny. They re-ran the wiring in my office, fixed the wiring in my bathroom and living room and explained the layout of the wiring in my house. Just awesome.

I have been searching hard for a good electrician for a long time and am happy to say that I have found one in Preston Link! They came to my house right away and fixed a fairly complicated problem that had other electricians scratching their head quickly. They also helped me purchase and install. a more efficient and better looking light fixture in my study. I absolutely LOVE Preston Link Electric. Whenever I thought of an electrical company I assumed they only took on big jobs. We have used them to change our pool light, install our entertainment system and hang our tv's and other misc stuff they noticed that seemed unimportant to me but evidently could have potentially caused a fire.

Given the work that they did in our home they were the first company we thought of when we moved to our new office. Again, did not realize they could do more than ""electrical"", they came in and wired all the electrical, phone and internet outlets right where wen needed everything.

Personal and professional use of their team has proven to be beneficial to us. They provided professional service from inception to completion of each job and the communication was great. If they need to get something they did not just leave, the let you know what's and why's.
