Quoted me a $69 service fee which was reasonable and then asked for 2x the going rate for a clogged drain line. What a waste of money.

Jonathan came out after putting in a quick call to fix my own mistake with installing a Nest thermostat. The issue was quickly diagnosed, fixed, and also had a review of the systems I've in place today reviewed given there are some future concerns around maintenance and heating costs. Highly recommend these as the first call to make if you have AC or heating issues.

I called Precision Air after my tenant said the blower motor was broken on the indoor unit. Tech went out, diagnosed, and ordered new motor and fan wheel after I paid $500 (half of bill). He called two days later and said he could not install because a bracket was missing, and said I need a whole new system anywhere from $8000-$12,000!!!. I said no, and they will refund the $500. I called another contractor, and the system was temporarily fixed and running within 1/2 an hour, and new bracket will be installed when received. Did not need a new system. Absolute BS.

I've been doing business with another prominent HVAC company in Austin for about 15 years. They recently came out to do my heater maintenance and when they finished, they told me I needed new ductwork. Salesman quoted me for a new unit and ductwork to the tune of $16k. I called Precision Heating and Air at the recommendation of a friend. Tim Britt came out to give me a quote. As we were looking at the ductwork, he told me he wasn't even going to give me a quote because I didn't need anything. I was so pleased with his honesty that I called his boss to let him know and now I know who I'll be doing HVAC business with Precision from here on out. It's so hard to find honest folks in this world but Precision has them.

2 days before Thanksgiving and I wake up to a FREEZING cold house. I tried several other phone numbers on Yelp & no one answered. I sent a request through Yelp & Precision called me back in minutes! They worked with my schedule got a repair quote together and a replacement quote and were really honest about the recommendations. We had to commit fast or we were waiting through the holiday & even with that I didn't feel pressured. They just spent this whole day before Thankgiving replacing & bringing many of the things that have gone out of code back to this decade (century!?) We added the maintenance agreement which means we will see them for regular maintance this coming year twice more but I am sure this relationship is going to be for many years to come. Cheers to a warm Thanksgiving for my 7 year old & I. Happy Holidays!!

Fast and efficient service! Its Sunday and I turned on my heat for the first time this year. ""klunk"" the heater wouldn't start. On a friend's advice I called Precision Heating and Air. Within 15 minutes a technician called me and another 30 he came out and fixed my furnace. Luckily it was just some debris that had fallen. The technician was courteous, explained what he was doing and stuck around to make sure everything was working properly.

Junior came out to replace the capacitor & add a starter kit to my A/C unit. He did a great job! I thought he'd be outside for a good while, but he's fast & efficient and it was done quickly. He also programed the thermostat so it would adjust to this crazy Texas weather. We are enjoying the fruits of his labor! Although I wasn't given the FULL discount previously agreed on, Junior held up his end & did great work! Thanks Junior!

After having a terrible experience with another company in town, Precision Heating & Air came through!

Had another company ""complete"" an HVAC inspection. Although I received permission from the homeowner to complete the inspection (I was interested in purchasing), they took my money, but didn't provide the report. Precision came through after I decided to end my relationship with the other company. Their technician was clean and professional. The invoice I received was clean and thorough. It included the information about their company, the HVAC licence number, and a FULL recommendation for repairs.

Junior was amazing and showed up within hours when my AC when out and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. My house is cool again :)

The whole team has been very professional and transparent, finding other areas that I need to be aware of going forward!

How does this place have good reviews? I had them come out to look at my A/C because the unit was shutting off before it reached the target temperature. The technician did about 5 minutes worth of work, tops, and charged me over $400 for the work. Was he performing life-saving surgery? No! He just blew out the A/C condensate drain line with compressed air.

What an absolute rip off! I will not ever be using this company again for anything, and will be sure not to recommend them to anybody I know. They should be ashamed for taking advantage of people.

*Edit - After seeing my review, they worked with me a little on the price, so I'm bumping it up to 2 stars.
