Popeye is the best friend a home owner could have.

Andrew has helped us with several small jobs in the past few years. He has been prompt, works fast, produces a quality product, and charges appropriately for the Bay Area market.

We recently had several items on the to do list that Andrew was very capable of doing in short order, and asked Andrew if he was interested in doing any of the work, we were pleasantly surprised when he offered a price to do them all. Drywall work, painting, stucco, fence, replacing wood window frames, spiffing up the yard, some accumulated trash removal, more painting, and more small tasks.

Andrew hit a home run, the house looks spectacular inside and out, we couldn't be happier.

I must admit I was feeling nervous about hiring a handyman service. I am the only girl with a lot of men in my family, so I'm used to calling them for help. After moving I recently didn't have any choice but to call a handyman for help. After some research, Popeye's was my choice, and I'm so glad it was!! Andrew and Mike were GREAT!

First let's start with the basics, they showed up on time (actually 5 mins early). They had all of the necessary tools to complete the job I emailed them about. I paid what I was quoted. They helped me move my last minute items out of the way, without irritation or hesitation. They got right to work. And every time they finished a task, Mike was right on top of cleaning up any mess that was made!

Andrew walked me through each project I wanted done (and there were several. I can make a hell of a Honey Do list). He later followed up with me when he was done to make sure I was happy with the work.

I felt very comfortable around them. They are very nice guys with a sense of humor, a great work ethic, and a respect for you as a consumer and your home. I appreciate that, it's not something you see everyday.

I have some work I'll need done in the next month or so I will definitely be calling Popeye's to have the work done.

I found Andrew from fellow yelpers. I was looking for someone to help fix a crack on my living room ceiling. I called Andrew and sent him pictures of the damage. He gave me a fair estimate, so we set up a date for the work. When Andrew came and started to scrap away the texture the crack was twice as big as originally thought. Andrew kept his original price even though the job ended up being twice as big. Now the ceiling looks great, can't even tell where the crack was.

Andrew is very professional and a class act. I will use him again for any work around my home.

Andrew did a great job fixing up a list of things I needed for my new home. He was right on time, pricing was fair and he got the job done. Also just a flat out nice guy and I was happy to have him and his partner at my place. Would use again and have already passed his number on to my Dad to do some work at his place.

I just had Andrew and his colleague, Mike reinforce two of my doors. Communication with Andrew was excellent. I texted him a few pictures of my doors and he knew what materials would work best. They were fast, efficient and did a great job. I feel much more secure knowing that it will be very difficult or close to impossible to kick in my doors which is the preferred method these days for the undesirables to gain access to homes. I will definitely give Andrew a call if I need any handyman type services in the future. On top of all of this, they're really nice guys.

This is my first time writing a review. I just want to express how amazing Andrew's work was. I had emailed a few people according to their excellent yelp reviews with photos of my door that I needed repaired and Popeyes Handyman Service responded immediately along with the most reasonable price.

So the day of the appointment. Andrew arrived on time and worked on the border of the door immediately. I say it took him about less than an hour to repair. Andrew was a multi-tasker, we were chatting away while he was fixing the border of the door. Sociable dude. Also, I offered to pay Andrew a little extra to help me mount my TV screen on the wall but he ended up doing it at free of no charge =) Thank You!

Anyway, the result of the new border of the door is spectacular! I was expecting to paint it over but Andrew made it look brand new again. I will post the before and after photos later! and sorry for making you climb so many stairs lol

We had Andrew install a hanging pot rack over our sink last week (see photo). I was so impressed with the whole process. I emailed him only a few days before to see if he had time for the project, and I wasn't too hopeful given the last-minute request. However, he got back to me right away and gave a very reasonable quote, so I set up an appointment. He arrived right on time and had the whole thing done within an hour, including after adjusting it to the desired height (sending sparks from his metal cutter--totally harmless but very crazy to see!). I thought he was very courteous and professional and we will definitely call him back for the next home improvement project!

My locksmith (Gabriel's Lock and Key) recommended Popeye's Handyman Service to have my front door reinforced. I spoke with Andrew and scheduled the work to be completed 3 days later. Andrew was very professional, clean, he was very prompt and did a very nice job. I'd recommend Andrew and Popeye's without hesitation for any other work I needed around the house.
