Wow..I'm almost speechless.

So last night I was making dinner and all of a sudden a circuit tripped and my appliances shut off. No problem, I thought. Went out to the garage to reset the breaker and....nothing. Tried a few more times to no avail. As it was Saturday night and I was worried about my fully stocked garage freezer and kitchen fridge, I started making phone calls. I knew it was going to be expensive and that was if I could even get anyone to come out at that hour.

The first two places I called went straight to voice mail. My third try was PoorBoy. I was surprised when Erik answered. I explained my situation and asked him if he could come out. He said he could but he was in the middle of eating dinner, it was Saturday night and it wouldn't be cheap.

While I was weighing my options, he offered for me to get on FaceTime and show him the problem and he would walk me through it. For free. I was taken aback by his kind offer. Turns out that I didn't need to use FaceTime because he walked me through what I needed to do and before I knew it, all of my appliances came back on. He spent time interrupting his dinner to walk a panicking stranger through a problem.

No charge.

The only thing he asked of me was to pay it forward.

PoorBoy Electric and Lighting is now our go to electrician. Well done Erik and once again, thank you.

I had some minor electrical work that I was requesting an estimate for - Erik not only got back to me promptly, but he walked me through my options and told me the parts that I would need to complete the project on my own. He gave a free phone consultation, texted me a link to the product I need, and couldn't have been nicer about the whole thing. I think I'm going to try to complete this project on my own but any electrical needs I have in the future I will no doubt call Poorboy's.

I love my new ceiling fans!

I have vaulted ceilings with a sharp pitch, which required some creative problem solving during install. Eric kept me informed and discussed options with me and ended up with a solution that kept the project within budget and the estimated time required.

The fan install in the entry way was very challenging. Eric's 20 ft ladder was perfect for the task.

Called to make an appointment to help install a ceiling fan, unfortunately they didn't have any availability that day. But were able to do a phone consultation for free with Erik. He diagnosed the problem over FaceTime and walked us through everything. He was so kind to take time out of his busy schedule. He told us to continue to call him for any questions or concerns. Poor Boy Electric and its owner/operator Eric have earned a best quality review from my 1st experience. A new Poor Boy customer who will be calling him again. Erik wasn't available to come over urgently when I needed a breaker replaced. BUT, he spoke with me on the phone for 10 minutes and gave me guidance on our issue that I would have gladly paid for. I will certainly call him in the future if I need work done.
