Joe Petranka, born in Montgomery, Alabama, began his career as an electrician in 1969 mentored by Griffin T. Key PE. In 1977, he obtained his Master Electricians Certificate and spent over 20 years designing and overseeing the installation of electrical systems rated up to 15KV. Joe was one of the early adopters of energy-saving lighting systems and network copper and fiber installations in the River Region as early as the 1970s and 1980s.
