Joe Petranka, a Montgomery native, started working as an electrician in 1969 mentored by Griffin T. Key PE. In 1977, he obtained his Master Electricians Certificate and worked for over two decades designing and managing the installation of electrical systems rated for up to 15KV. He was a pioneer in the introduction of energy-saving lighting systems and network copper and fiber installations in the River Region back in the 1970s and 1980s.
