Joe Petranka, born in Montgomery, Alabama, began his career as an electrician in 1969 mentored by Griffin T. Key PE. He received his Master Electricians Certificate in 1977 and worked for over two decades designing and managing the installation of electrical systems rated for up to 15KV. Joe was among the first to introduce innovative lighting systems and network installations with copper and fiber in the River Region as early as the 1970s and 1980s.
