I just had a ductless cooling/heating mini-split system installed. Have not had to use it yet. The plan is to keep the house cool upstairs and down when the local temps get above 80 degrees. It will also be interesting to see how the cost and efficiency of heating compares to standard furnace and PG&E bills. And assuming wildfires are a recurring circumstance, it will be nice to know I can cool the house without having to open windows and letting in smoke.

I am very happy to report that I am quite pleased with the installation process. Gilbert, Shay, Chris and Xavier, and operations manager Mike, all made the installation process as smooth as possible. Two very brief problem solving appointments were scheduled promptly and Gilbert arrived right on time. None of the appointments had to to with system problems, just a little more instruction needed. The office staff, Alyssa and others, also handled questions and scheduling follow-up in a very professional and courteous manner.

So if my new system operates as smoothly and successfully as the company, I will be a very happy customer. I will do follow-up reviews as this is a big investment for any home owner and I want to keep others up-to-date.

Perfect Star is the best! I would never go with anyone else. Gilbert came over to check on our AC unit which wasn't turning on. He inspected the unit, then ran around the house including up in the attic to figure out why it wasn't getting a working voltage. After an hour, he figured out the problem, and it was something we could fix ourselves! And the service call was probably 75-100$ less than anyone else would charge. Gilbert was very professional, courteous, and effective!

We scheduled an appointment to have our ducts looked at because we were only getting cold air in two rooms. They were able to schedule an appointment for the next day. They also sent me text notifications that the technician was on his way which was nice. The technician arrived inspected the ducts, and was able to give recommendations and a proposal on the spot! We approved the work and got a start date right then and there. We could not be more happy with the crew that performed the work and the nice cold air that now is able to travel throughout our house. Pricing is very reasonable for the service you get. I would recommend them and happy we went with this contractor.

Perfect Star Heating and Air Conditioning provided a complete replacement HVAC system for our home, including two systems and a whole house fan. The work was done very professionally, with quality and meticulous attention to details, despite requiring working in some very confined areas. Our entire experience with Perfect Star has been very positive. I called them when our AC stopped cooling. Setting up the appointment was easy and quick. Alyssa was very professional and answered all my questions and even called me back to move my appointment to an earlier date. Their consultation fee of $59 was reasonable and they send you a text with the name of their technician with a tracking feature.

Our technician Gilbert was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient during the consultation. He explained everything about our unit, pointed out the problems and even gave us market analysis on the model of the unit. We now know more about our HVAC system. He gave us quick estimates for short term fixes and long term solutions and even gave his professional opinion on what might work best. Within an hour after the consultation, a well written estimate was emailed to us along with the pictures of our unit that is inaccessible to us.

We asked him couple of questions about our heating system, and he was courteous enough to show us the furnace room and all its functions, which is something he didn't really had to do. Props to him for staying in the attic for 10 minutes in 100 degree heat. He had to climb up and down the stairs several times but he didn't complain. I highly recommend Perfect Star Heating and Air Conditioning for their efficient service. And would definitely contact them for future services.

I called Perfect Star (after reading Yelp, getting a recommendation from a neighbor & seeing that they were 2017 Best of Brentwood). I was hoping for a quick repair but I knew my 30 yr old system should be replaced. Danny came out to diagnose and hopefully fix my problem. And he could have fixed it, but a 30 yr old part Is not on a shelf, it needs to be ordered. I think I used up every bit of that HVAC system. Let's replace it. Danny detailed 3-4 options with pricing. He was very patient and helpful; talked over my various concerns. I was able to make an informed decision because of his knowledge and ability to communicate.

2 days later (Danny was able to get me onto the schedule due to a cancellation which he discovered by making a phone call) Dade and David showed up on time with my new equipment. They quickly went to work and I hardly even knew they were there. I was able to listen and watch a bit and those guys were a great team. I thought it was going to be an all day ordeal but it wasn't. They were done by 3:30 & Dade stayed for a few more minutes to make sure I knew how to use the new thermostat. Great young men with a great work ethic. Hey boss! You have 3 men who nailed customer service AND technical knowledge. Oh and btw they totally cleaned up everything. Awesome experience. Good people make a good company.

I had an older air-conditioner which 2 other local companies told me that could not be repaired. As a last resort, I contacted Perfect Star since a friend had recommended them.
Brandon Gliedt came out to inspect the unit and assured me he could fix it. Brandon is an outstanding representative of the company. Very knowledgeable, and the most professional person. It's rare you run into people like this that really care and want to do a thorough job. He didn't look for the easy remedy as the other companies had, but worked diligently to find the solution.
I truly cannot thank him enough for all of his hard work and skill. A true professional In every sense of the word! It is my true pleasure to recommend Brandon to any friend or family member.

Found them on Yelp after searching for someone to come service my furnace/AC. The $69 deal was totally worth it. The technician spent about an hour and walked me through all the details of what he was doing.
