I had just bought my house in Brentwood almost two years ago and the original tenants didn't seem to place upkeep as a priority. Coming in, I wanted to see why my system wasn't working as efficiently as possible. I called Perfect Star and they sent Raymond Kinder over and I completely happy they did. You can immediately tell Raymond had a breadth of experience because not only did he look over the systems, inspect it, and clean it but he also took pictures, which are uploaded to the invoice they provide. He went through the pictures with me and showed the progression of how the system has pirated and recommended repair options for the future. Lastly, he did an amazing job cleaning out my dryer vent, which I deeply appreciate. I'm signing up for the annual service to make sure my system continues to work as efficiently as possible. Definitely recommend Raymond Kinder for your tune up needs!

Updated review. After another try they repaired the insulation and installed a proper covering at no cost to me. I was satisfied with the work that was done. With persistence you can get a quality job. However, the scratch to the flooring was never addressed. I have given up on that.

A few Months back, I 'hired' Perfect Star to take a look @ my HVAC dilema. I could 'hear' water-running in the Kitchen Floor Vent, when I had the A/C on.

The 'solution' offered to me was to TOTALLY REPLACE ALL of my Under-the-Condo-Unit 'Venting' @ approx $5-6K.

I declined, & they left. I was very upset & 'chagrin' about my options,& shared my thoughts with PERFECT-STAR. Within 2-wks, Perfect Star REFUNDED my Costs & attached a tad MORE than I had actually Paid. I believe Perfect Star went 'Above & Beyond' what they needed to do...I wish MORE Companies had their COURAGE in making-things right. THANK YOU!

Our heater and AC had an issue. We called Perfect Start and they were very professional in setting up the appointment. Marvic can on time. Amazing guy, extremely curteous and really knows what he is doing. He tested both the AC and Heating gave right diagnosis and fixed the issue. I would highly recommend Marvic!

Our air conditioner decided to go out on us at the peak of the heat wave a few weeks ago. We called perfect star heating and air. They sent Marvic to service the air conditioner. Marvic was great. He was able to get our 18 year plus air conditioner working again. My husband and I had been talking about getting a new HVAC system knowing that our system was beyond its lifespan. We set up another appointment with Marvic to get an estimate for the new HVAC. We appreciate the time he took to show us all of our options that would fit within our budget.Once we settled on a hvac system we wanted, he set up our appointment. They could have done the install a few days after but we couldn't due to our schedule. It was done a week later. On day of install, Keon G., Martin J., and Preston S. showed up right on time at 8 am like they said they would. My husband says they were great and worked hard all day to finish the install in a day. Thank you so much Marvic, Keon, Martin, and Preston. We are very happy with the experience with this company. We used them a month ago for a repair service. We did some homework and their reviews were off the chart so we thought we would try them. We wanted to be proactive on replacing our 24 year old system. The crew that showed up (Martin, Keon and Jesus) were professional, polite, knowledgeable and confident. Installing a air / furnace systems isn't an easy task, so we are appreciative of their skillset and hard study to accomplish this, to make it safe for us to heat / cool our home. We really like this company on multiple levels: Stand by their products and people - nothing is outsourced - everyone we've dealt with are extremely nice and want our business, they earned our business - I never have to worry if my system is going to work or if it doesn't work I know exactly who to call and confident they will take care of it promptly

As the Bay Area's latest heat wave was approaching, my compressor started sounding weird. Since it was 20+ years old, it needed some attention. Chuck came by for an estimate; he answered all my questions and gave a fair quote. Two days later, Martin J and Keon G arrived promptly at 8am to install a new system. They knew their stuff, were courteous, and did a great job. Everything was buttoned up nicely and the new system works great. They even found that a part of the quote was not needed so came in under the quote. Great service! I strongly recommend this company; if Martin and Keon come by then you are in good hands.

Also, when the certification company came by, the system passed with flying colors.
